New crutches! They're ok but a significant upgrade from hospital A-Frame Crutches

They're ok. I have a few problems with them but it's whatever. They're significantly more nimble than what the hospital gave me, and they're easier to use and carry around. So, they're what i'll use.

Also, I sticker-bombed it with some sticker packs that i had lying around. Because stickers.

Oh, and unlike A-Frame crutches, i can use one as a cane if i don't feel the need to use both

I'm rapidly degrading and i don't know what to do...

Ok, about three weeks ago i started an 11 day course of Prednisone for an asthma flare up. I was for the most part fine before the flare up. Now, about 8 days since i finished the course of Prednisone i'm extremely weak and at this point bedridden because i'll end up collapsing if i try to walk. My muscles fatigue way easier than they ever used to, and its getting worse day after day. A few days ago it was just my neck. Yesterday, its started hitting my legs a little. Today, i almost collapsed in the shower.

I went to urgent care yesterday and had an overall positive experience. I'm going to get tested for Myasthenia Gravis (since i have diplopia, and now general muscle weakness, and my brain mri was clean). They took blood for an initial test. I've had an overall great experience with healthcare somehow. But my labs keep coming back normal lol.

They don't want to treat my symptoms without a confirmed diagnosis, which means i'm just going to be bedridden for who knows how long. I feel so weak and helpless and it's making me feel useless and depressed. I feel stuck, because if i try to push through it i just get worse.

I don't know what to do...

Coping mechanisms while I wait for doctors appointments?

Hi yall, I posted yesterday that I suspect that I have MG. I was on a prednisone taper for an asthma flare up, and I think it's caused whatever is wrong with me to get worse. Basically, I'm feeling very weak specifically in my arms and shoulders in the afternoon and into the evening. I have an appointment scheduled with an ophthalmologist on the 10th and a primary care appointment in a month or so.

What can I do to take care of myself in the meantime? It's *really* disabling at this point.

I suspect MG, how should i ask my doctor to evaluate?

Hi yall! I've been experiencing double vision that's been getting harder to compensate for (headaches, oww). I just put a bag of frozen corn over the eye and the double vision went away for a little bit. I also have unexplained fatigue and muscle weakness, I think (it feels like it's worse than everyone else).

I have another ophthalmology appointment in a week, and I see my doctor in a month. My brain MRI came back normal.

I know MG is rare, but i think i fit a clinical profile. How should i approach either the optho or my primary care doctor? I'm getting really tired of the constant headaches and fatigue...

Struggling to converge with current BI prism, but doctor reduced prism?

I think i had a pretty crappy ophthalmology appointment. Felt rushed the entire time, and they didn't even do a second refraction after my eyes were dilated (even though I requested so, because my eyes tend to compensate very well).

Anyways, my current pair of glasses are OD 1.5 BI and OS 1.5 BI (with sphere and cylinder too, but its fairly insignificant. With these I'm still struggling to hold convergence after a somewhat typical day at work, and my eye doctor prescribed me 0.5 BI both eyes. Which makes no sense to me. I've worn 0.5 BI in the past and it felt like it did very little to actually help me. He stated during the subjective part of the exam that i reported that it was as easy to converge with 0.5 as with 1.5, but I don't really know, all the prism tests felt the exact same (strained).

Now, the one silver lining (and the reason I ordered glasses) is that I finally got a good PD reading. Apparently the pupilary distance is different between my two eyes (WHO WOULD'VE FREAKING GUESSED) but until now I've only had one pupilary distance to order glasses with. So my reasoning is that maybe the right freaking PD will actually do more than I think.

Is this normal? Or should I seek a second opinion/see a different eye doctor

Car runs fine but...

Ok: 2007 Subaru Outback 5MT. 258K miles, recent (used jdm) engine swap.

I'm getting p0403, p0320, and p0002 whenever i go above 4k rpm during highway acceleration, and a flashing check engine light that goes away relatively quickly.

I used to also get p0301 and p0302 after the same conditions but after spark plugs and a new egr valve that has seemed to go away (like it no longer stores the code, it still flashes at hw accel)

The shop i had the long block swapped by (they couldn't use the newer intake?) told me that they think the misfire codes should go away after a few cycles. They're now not being stored but it's still possibly misfiring.

The wiring harness is suspicious (like, janky repairs)

The car doesn't sound like it's misfiring.

How should i go about diagnosing this without throwing a shitload of parts at it?
