I'm making Teddy Bears! On the ones I've done so far brown or black were fine for the embroidered eyes and nose. I'm working on one with brown fabric so that probably won't work. Any ideas what colour I should use? It's for a baby girl btw but all colours are on the table. It can be something other than the examples I put here.

I made 3 test bears before starting this one, but I used the same cheap thin fabric for those. This was supposed to be the final product that I'm making for my new baby niece. However the fabric is much different and I didn't realize it frays waaaaay more easily than the test fabric.
I had to do 3 layers of ladder stitches in the back to close it up because I was worried it was coming apart. I just finished the nose and now the neck opened up :(
Is there any way to fix this? Or should I just carefully satin stitch the whole opening? There will be a ribbon around the neck so hopefully this area will be mostly covered.
