Hey all,
The time you've all been waiting for is here! S2 is only a few weeks and you can be a part of it! Due to some feedback and advice received from season 1, we are trying to have some broader and more general categories this season, to make the season more entertaining for both players and spectators. That is why the application process is changing slightly.
How to apply:
- DM me (or either of my co-hosts) the nickname you'd like to use on The Floor (e.g. mine would be Ranv)
- As well as a nickname, please can you tell us your timezone so we can have more of an idea of when you may be online.
- And most importantly, please send 3 categories (at least 2 if you're struggling, but 3 is ideal) that were not played in S1 in your application, so us hosts can choose the category we think will work best for the floor. You will not know which category you have been assigned until the start of the game.
Top tip: If you need some inspiration, Google some of the categories they've done on the actual show, that's the sort of thing we are looking for!
Any players of S1 can reapply, so if you want a second chance, go for it! There is no exact starting date, but I'm predicting it'll likely start in 2.5-3 weeks. And bear in mind that, unlike the other games in the r/Play scene, this game is very non-committal, and can be played alongside other games easily.
I can't wait to see who applies!
Evening gang,
Just finished my shift in a shop on a holiday park. Today we had a delivery through, and on the order, were these squishy dumplings.
Now I expected them to sell well, as I knew they were "viral" online. But what I didn't prepare myself for was a scene similar to vultures. Kids everywhere, running in and out, and genuinely just causing absolute chaos. All to try and find the "glitter dumpling". We ended up going through around 4 full boxes of these things in just an afternoon. I've never seen anything like it, and I can't quite understand how....
What is the appeal? Any parents with kids, are they obsessed too? Is this just a thing in my neck of the woods? So many questions, and I need to know if it's just me

Behz and George were the perfect guests for this video, genuinely. Every guest was giving it their all, and just seemed happy to be there. Can't fault a single thing with the video

I know it's common knowledge that Jacky is indeed an F tier brawler, and sometimes regarded as the worst brawler in the game. But my question is, does she have ANY use? Like are there any top meta brawlers that she counters? Any particular map in Ranked's rotation that suits her?
Or is she really just useless?
Only thing I can find by searching is reducing the image pixels to 256x256, but it makes the quality look awful
