Hello, I’m about to build a new computer with a ultra 7 270 K and 5070 TI OC. I was looking at the MSI monitor above for good quality picture and gaming. Price limit is 400. Is there a better option? I’ll be playing gta 6 and mw4

Hello, building a pc for the first time in 13~ years.
I was going to go with a msi 5070ti. Any tips on buying the parts/sourcing the gpu or the other parts for that matter?
I basically was just looking between Amazon and Newegg ( with the filter on only showing new egg sellers).
The closest microcenter is in DC 2+ hours away. I briefly looked at their cpu ram motherboard bundle and it wasn’t that great of a savings. Not sure how good their gpu deals are.
Any tips welcome. Like I said it’s a whole new world 13 years later.
Anyone seen information in writing on the performance bonuses for the navy/NAVFAC commands? (For the last cycle 04/2025-03/2026) or possible received theirs?
Verbally there were comments about no money a while back then in the one staff call we had in the last three months they said it was unsure when they were coming out.
If in the case there is no ‘extra incentive’ money I’m wondering what excuse they have for why they aren’t giving out leave like many other agencies do.
My understanding is that the deadline is the FY calendar so I guess technically they have time but I haven’t seen them issued this late.
Almost makes me shed tears knowing an all 5 rating might make me $800 if I’m lucky and get 0 leave. But hey it’s $800 I didn’t have.
Considering an attempt to move to the VA. I’m told they are not allowing any telework, not even to support situations on rare occasions etc. Also being told there have been several attempts to downgrade healthcare engineers to gs 11s, and they fired all probationary employees recently.
Highly considering application for lower workload and an unbelievably high toxic workplace. This was kind of my last ditch attempt to stay fed.

So I know Jlab just laid off a ton of people. I’m confused as to why they would go about doing that and then turn around and post so many jobs? The jobs are all over different departments of the lab, new engineers to directors… IT to acquisitions..?
Also a bit confused as to why there are so many different posting for construction engineers, construction managers, engineering project managers etc. Most of them are staff engineer III with slightly different reqs and roles. Even the supervisory roles are still level III, so again I’m confused why anyone would be a supervisor in the same ‘pay grade’. Are there really multiple different groups? Or is it a fishing expedition? Again seems super odd they would lay off people for budget cuts but then need to hire such a staff like this for capital improvements/costly construction.
Probably obvious but I can’t make rhyme or reason and would really appreciate some clarity. Ty!!
