My save still works 24 years later

I started very early into the GameCube era (might have been day of release). I used to play very often online, switched over to Schthack servers after the GameCube servers shut down, but stopped playing years ago.

Tonight, I thought I would see if the memory card had corrupted after years of being stored away. I seriously think I've probably only turned this game on maybe once or twice in the last ten years. I was slightly surprised that the 24 year old memory card still showed the save, and even more surprised that I was able to play through Forest 1 and 2 without it corrupting.

It felt so strange to be back in a world I'd lost over 5000 hours of my life to.

Memory Card filled with photos found at the air refueling apparatus at Space Monster Gas on 185th

The photos appeared to be mostly of trees and clouds in the sky from around the tail end of March. If you lost this incredibly common looking memory card, let somebody know.

I had a good time at the Washington County Fair

The morning yesterday was fairky quiet, but the evening was alive with people smiling, laughing, and having a good time. It was well worth the $10 parking fee.
