I know at this point in my life not to idolize or lionize fallible human beings and to be wary of parasocial relationships…but that being said, I must confess that I realized the past couple weeks that my viewing habits of not only The Bulwark content but also political content in general correlates strongly with the availability of Tim Miller content. Tim is just so good, and that’s no news to anybody here, but I did not consume much Bulwark content at all while Tim was out, even though I truly do love Sarah, JVL, Sam, et al… But Tim is the glue.

Tim Miller, Van Lathan, Chris Ryan, Joanna Robinson, Hank Green—probably the hardest working content creators I follow. Just hope the former keep some balance in their lives, despite the drive to create, create, create, so they don’t crash out like the latter did this past week.

SO, mixed message here: Tim, you are awesome and the reason I watch. Also, breaks are good, and hope you’re rested—even though it means I don’t get my favorite Bulwark content!

PS: The rebrand was smart and needed—kudos to those who led that charge!

For the longest time, I didn’t know how to access from Season 1. It felt like when ER wasn’t steaming for years during the already established streaming era. Not sure when Hulu/D+ got S1-etc., but I am loving the binge. I’ve read up on the BTS of Dzundza and Moriarty, so I know the meta drama and whatnot each individually experienced. But man they are each dynamite in their roles. I’ve never seen episodes with either until this binge. Gonna miss the former very soon and I’m savoring the multiple seasons with the latter!

I’m in Texas, and I haven’t had a Ritz pack that wasn’t pale and underbaked in months. Anyone else noticing this?

So obviously the crowds were…different…today than for a typical Sunday at a major. Closest seems to be how the Ryder Cup was this past year. r/golf has kind of flipped 55/45 now in favor of burying the Wyndham hate. It’s seen as too mainstream/over the top for the average user, I guess.

NLU is a slightly different cross-section of online golfer. I’m curious what folks thought of the crowds, the coverage reaction, the USGA actions, and so-on.

I’ve noticed multiple Bulwarkers trying to catch themselves cursing lately or apologizing - is the team trying to “professionalize” by cursing less? or maybe to avoid demonetization or age limits/explicit tags?

Personally, I love the authenticity with mild cursing, but ai know it’s not for everybody. Anyone else notice the metatext on this?
