[314 Marks] Got Goa CSE, hoping for Pilani CSE. Should I wait for Iteration 4 or book tickets to Goa? ✈️

Hey everyone,

I'm in a bit of a logistical dilemma and could really use some insights from seniors who know how the later iterations usually play out.

The Stats:

My BITSAT Score: 314

Current Status: Allotted BITS Goa CSE

My Preference Order:

  1. Pilani CSE

  2. Goa CSE

The Problem:

Iteration 4 is coming up, but I really need to book my travel tickets for campus reporting ASAP.

Traveling to Goa versus travelling to Rajasthan are two entirely different routes for me, and last-minute flight/train prices are already starting to skyrocket.

Realistically, what are my chances of getting an upgrade to Pilani CSE by Iteration 4 at 314 marks?

Do cutoffs historically drop to this range in the 4th or 5th iterations?

Should I hold out hope and wait to book for Pilani, or is 314 too borderline and I should just bite the bullet and book my tickets to Goa now?

Would really appreciate any advice, past experiences, or reality checks!

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Opinions regarding BITSAT 2026 iteration wise cutoff drops.

Hello folks!

I am going straight to the point as ranting about my background probably won't interest you.

I have scored 314 marks in BITSAT 2026 (moderated score).

According to the Iteration 1 results, I was offered BITS Goa CSE, which is my second preference which I have entered during the choice filling.

I am really zealous to be enlightened by your opinions regarding whether I will get an opportunity to be a student of BITS Pilani CSE.

Thanks for your time!
