I've got a specific problem I can't follow rhythm at all in osu!, not just "I'm bad at high BPM" or "I miss under pressure." I genuinely lose track of where the beat is and can't sync my taps to the music consistently.

I've already been told to just play slow/easy maps and that hasn't fixed it, so I'm not looking for that advice again. What I'm actually hoping for:

• Maps specifically known for clean, mechanical, repetitive rhythm snapping (not just low star rating difficulty isn't the issue, timing perception is)
• Songs with a very obvious, consistent beat (strong kick/snare, minimal syncopation or offbeat stuff) so it's easier to lock in
• Maps people have actually used as "rhythm trainers" rather than just beginner maps
• Any drills/exercises beyond map selection metronome practice, tapping along to a click track before touching osu, etc.

If you've dealt with this exact issue (not just "I was bad at osu and got better by playing more"), I'd love to hear what specifically helped you feel the beat instead of just reacting to notes.
