Coffee Haul from China 🇨🇳

I’m really excited to try out all of these beans. I wish I could order these on a regular basis.

Best Category 1 is in Tajikistan 🇹🇯

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe and I was so surprised by how well my stay went. I redeemed 4500 points per night and the cash price would’ve been 158$ a night. Upgraded to a suite and the breakfast was delicious

Indonesia x Taiwan Blend

I like to experiment with beans so this time I did Excelsa with Taiwanese Geisha. For Excelsa is best to use 1 gram or less because the taste can be overpowering and it would also be better to brew 2 different beans along with the Excelsa. My favorite way to use Excelsa is to enhance old beans or average tasting beans. In this case the Taiwanese beans taste great on their own so there wasn’t much of a leap in terms of flavor

Novotel Jingan Shanghai as a Platinum 🇨🇳

This hotel was great. Pretty affordable and the metro was about 200m away with cheap restaurants and coffee shops very close by.
Solid breakfast and service. The gym was top notch

Brewing Beans from Shanghai 🇨🇳

Finally got my hands on Captain George beans. I drank a lot of the higher end beans at the shop and while these beans are “normal” in terms of flavor they didn’t miss a beat.

Brewed 2 Year Old Beans

I always try to experiment at home with random blends and old beans so that they don’t go to waste. PAGA is a roastery in Bangkok and I had about 1 brew left in the bag that has been sitting on the shelf for years. Of course the taste was not at its full potential but it’s better than “peak” beans I’ve had at many shops. For old beans I try 94C then the rest of the pours 87C or lower sometimes even the final pour around 70C

Day 2 of Coffee in Shanghai 😋

Got over caffeinated at Captain George. The place was packed but if you order from the brew lab menu they take you to a back room. We got there 2 mins after opening so people were probably lined up before they opened.

Loving Coffee in Shanghai

Dropped my bags off at the hotel and went straight to Lucky Draw. Decided on Kenya and Yunnan (China) but there were so many options on the menu

Went Coffee Crazy at TPE 🇹🇼

I stopped at Simple Kaffa and VWI Coffee Bar. I even bought some Taiwanese Geisha beans. I went to the airport early just to have time to try out coffee. Definitely do not miss out if you ever have a layover here

Coffee in Taiwan is amazing!

I traveled to Taipei many times before I discovered specifically and somehow never made it to the Flagship shop. If you guys know any other shops in Taipei worth trying please let me know

Coffee Haul from WOC Bangkok 🇹🇭

I was trying to prioritize beans from Asia but some of these really stood out compared to the ocean of Panama geishas
