NW-A037 only recognizing some files on SD card

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to add new music to my walkman, but for some reason the music player app only recognizes about 1/3 of the files added to it. It will completely exclude some albums, and others it will include with only a few of the songs. When I plug it into my pc, all of the files are there in the file explorer. If I put them on internal storage it recognizes every file with no issue. Weirdly this only started happening after a few months of owning it. The first dozen or so albums I put on the card were recognized without any problems and still play perfectly fine, but now everything new I add gets screwed up. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you solve it?
