An idiot’s idea for a potential 4th Splatoon, or whatever you want to call it
(This is NOT a talk about splatoon raiders)
This is an opinion, don’t get mad if i say smth wrong.  And I don’t mind if people steal my idea, just give me a bit of credit

PRICING:

• I think if there’s a Splatoon 4, then it should be free (I’ll get into why I think that in a bit)
• If it’s free, then I’ll allow Nintendo to charge a bit more money for playing it online.
• I think the DLC for Splatoon 3 was good. You get to go to 2 more places which is really good, so points for that. 
• I think that if Nintendo really want to bring money into Splatoon while making it free, they should have like a battle pass + a new currency, meaning if players don’t have enough currency to get something that they want, they can just get it for buying it. (This does NOT mean that the game will be Pay 2 Win, so don’t think that it will be)

AVAILABILITY:

• I think even though Splatoon 3 was a banger, I did not want to pay 60 dollars for the digital or physical versions, and I’m sure a few others would agree.
• If Nintendo still wants to make us pay for a 4th game, then at least DONT MAKE IT A WHOPPING $60! I COULD BUY 11 $5 DOLLAR MEALS AT BURGER KING INSTEAD OF THAT!
• Please, Nintendo, please make the game available for both switch 1 and switch 2. Please, im begging you

THE GAME :D :

• Now the reason I want it to be free is because I paid 60 dollars for S3(splatoon 3) and to play online I still had to pay! I guess it would be ok for 60 dollars since the game came out in 2022 and i played it 4 3 years but like 70% percent of the game is online so I was kind of mad at that
• DA MUSICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCcccCCC!!! The music was absolutely fire, and I hope the raiders music will be even better. It was AMAZING in my opinion, but the one thing the S3 people sold on was not making a soundtrack. I mean it was on the nintendo app, BUT LIKE IT WASN’T ON AMAZON MUSIC OR SPOTIFY OR ANYTHING LIKE tHAT SO I HAD TO SETTLE TO LISTENIng to CHEAP KNOCKOFFS. (they gained aura for the music but lost it for not making a soundtrack out of it)
• I think there should be an offline mode. There technically is already, but it sucks bc there’s no one there besides u on the map. There should be an offline mode like Mariokart, where you play with bots. I think there should be certain level of bots based on your skill level of the game.
• In that case of the bullet above, there should also be ranked modes, but unranked and offline.
• In the 2 cases above, this is where I bring in MULTIPLAYER. Splatoon should’ve made a splitscreen if there’s more than one player (of course splitscreen would only be available on tv, not handheld), from top to bottom, not side to side(please side to side is so buns)

MORE GAME STUFF 😄: 

• If you leave an online ranked game, more than twice, you should get a ban from playing for the rest of that day. ( IF I GO UP AGAINST A GOOD TEAM, MY TEAMMATES JUST BAIL ON ME, TEAMMATES IF YOU’RE SEEING THIS NEVER PLAY S3 AGAIN.)
• Splatfests are amazing, I don’t have anything to say about them. Good job s3 folks.
• Salmon run is also amazing, nothing to say about that except that it should also be an offline mode too
• Okay, sometime it’s so hard to even play splatoon with my friends(my digital friends, i have no real friends 🥹), so make it more easier to get in their game. Gamechat is a great feature, but i feel like s4 can bring it farther.

 

EVEN MORE GAME STUFF 👍

• Make a FFA mode. Or just more modes in general. I also like the idea of what other games are doing, like roblox or fortnite, where the community can make modes themselves. Please let us do that.
• The story mode is fire, but i feel like after every time it’s done there’s like nothing else that’s canon. My point is that i want you s3 guys to expand the story more. In s3, we saw a whole world! Maybe have us go around the world, things like that.
• The movement. Squid surge and squid whatever-its-name-was was amazing. I don’t think you should add a lot more movement bc i’d be too complicated for some players, but nice job on the movement. Everybody who’s seeing this, send this to Nintendo. We can work together. Give me a call.
