WHY is my MOUTH so friggin CLICKY?

*disclaimer I'm just crashing out a bit over this don't entirely mind me*

I've stayed hydrated, moved away from the mic, chewed on a granny smith, a lemon, lemon water. The majority of my editing/mastering is going after and zapping these DANG clicks and pops. Like is this how I sound day to day? Like I'm chewing on poprocks? Like fireworks are sounding before I even speak?? If so, how annoying for other people.

I open my mouth and don't even say anything and it's *pop pop pop*

?????

Like am I even okay? Am I dry? Too hydrated? Can one even be too hydrated? I love recording and the finished product is always worth it, but I am being sent into orbit while I am going after these clicks and pops.

I guess that's all, please feel free to resume your regularly scheduled programming. 🙃

Just made it to 2 years! Big supply dip from period.

I’m so proud of my little stink and I for making it this far, he just turned 2 last month and we’re still going for it. However, I am having a particularly hard period right now and I feel like my supply is nearly nonexistent.

Early last month I took a night away and brought my little hand pump and got about an ounce and a half combined when I pumped so I know I’m not producing a lot as it is. I’m on my 3rd day of my period now and I’ve noticed my little one hardly makes any swallowing sounds when he nurses and it’s been like that the past few days. I’m hoping what little supply I had left comes back because we’re both still happy to be chugging along with nursing.

Just wondering if anyone else experienced this? My supply has dropped during my cycle in the past but not quite this bad it feels like. 🥲 Wondering what other moms who’ve made it to 2 years and beyond experience with this?

Thanks! 🫶

How can I clean this up? Or should I start from scratch?

Let me preface this by saying I don’t know a thing about horticulture. 😭 I live in an area where many other people’s yards look so dang good. I don’t know where to begin here. This (right side) bed was empty when we first moved in. I planted some irises and then some peonies in front of them. I want to clean up the area and maybe add something else? I’m gonna put down some cardboard and mulch once I figure out a game plan.

I just spent the last 4 hours pulling out weeds and trying to tidy up. Been so busy with school and my toddler that I neglected the front beds and the weeds were terrible.

Now that I graduated and have some time I’d love to make it look pretty.

On the other front (left) bed, I can’t get anything to grow there! It definitely gets more shade so I think I need to get different plants because I planted the same amount of irises in both beds and one side took off and the other just grows weeds 🥲.

So, what would you recommend? I am in Zone 7a according to the internet.

I was thinking trimming the iris leaves but don’t want to screw it up so figured I’d ask. 🥲

Those managing IBS-D, what has helped you?

Currently on the toilet for the 4th time in the past hour and I am miserable. 😞 I thought I had a pretty good grasp on my triggers but sometimes some random thing will send me into a fit. I’m so tired of it. Hoping to hear what has worked for others.

I went to Ulta because I needed a new concealer. The one I had looked too pink on me but I’ve just made it work because it’s what I’ve had for a while. (I’m a SAHM and we live a ways away from town so I didn’t want to take the time to go get matched.) I went in a couple years ago and there was a gal there who matched me to bare minerals golden medium loose foundation; I was using their medium beige at the time which also looked a little pink on me but I didn’t realize how much it didn’t match my skin tone until that girl put golden medium on me!! I was so surprised!

Anyway, I went in this time having the idea that I would need a somewhat warm shade because I loved the way the tone of the bare minerals matched my skin tone. When the gal came up to me she said, “You are VERY cool toned so we need something light and cool.” I told her about my past experience when I got matched to golden medium and really liked it which she sounded super surprised about. I wanted the ilia concealer and she tried a few cool ones until I asked if we could try the 11w georgette just to see. I ended up buying Georgette but I’m wondering now if it looks too yellow on me :/ I thought it looked okay but it can be hard to tell with those florescent lights.

Do you think it looks okay? Or maybe a neutral shade would have been better? I live 30 minutes from the closest Ulta and don’t wanna go back but I don’t want to look silly with the wrong shade either. 🥲😅

Thank you!
