Having to decide which team I was going to nerf without Odette was tough. I’m confident my C2 Wriothesley could’ve cleared the maiden if I’d been able to slot Odette, but then I probably wouldn’t have been able to beat the old man.

I was actually a little surprised my Lohen team managed to clear. Slotting Mona in was just cope 😭 Maybe C2 Prune would’ve been better, but mine isn’t geared and I was already getting pretty annoyed trying to clear.

Zibai on the maiden was definitely the hardest for me because I couldn’t break her shield, so I basically had to let her heal up. I also have a C2 Mualani team with C2 Mavuika, but my Mavuika gameplay is... not something I’m ready to write home about 💀 I did clear with them, but it was around 120s, while Zibai was just a little faster. If I could actually do proper CA cancels, I probably could’ve gotten it lower on another team.

But honestly, how are you guys feeling about Stygian? Because all this really did was make me even more ready for the Tsaritsa. If the leaks about the 30% shred, 48% ATK buff and “elevation” are true, those numbers are looking very Odette C2-ish to me and could open up some really interesting Stellar team options.

Maybe Her Majesty can finally free Odette up for one of my teams and Xilonen can get back to fixing Mauvs bike before the next cataclysm 😭 Looking forward to a team where Wriothesley might get Odette + Danica <3

Anyway, I’m just giving Her Majesty to Vesna.

Why do some players treat being F2P like it’s a moral achievement?

Genuine question because I’ve noticed this more and more in the Genshin community. Why do some people feel the need to announce that they’re F2P like it’s a badge of honor or proof that they have more “discipline” than people who spend?
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being F2P. Nobody has to spend money on a game, and if you can enjoy everything without spending a dime, great. But I also don’t understand the superiority complex that sometimes comes with it.
We’re all doing the same exploration, opening the same chests, sitting through the same dialogue, doing events, commissions, etc. Someone buying Welkin, BP, or even topping up doesn’t suddenly mean they lack discipline, just like being F2P doesn’t automatically mean you have more of it.
And at the end of the day, Genshin is a live-service game. The art, music, voice acting, development, servers, updates, etc. are ultimately funded by people spending money. F2P players absolutely contribute to the community and keep the playerbase active, but spending money on something you enjoy isn’t inherently a negative thing either.
I just find the whole “F2P btw” culture strange sometimes. Being F2P is a spending preference, not a personality trait or an accomplishment. 😭
Am I the only one who finds the flexing around it a little weird?

I came into this banner telling myself I was saving everything for Vesna. I had a nice little pile of wishes, knew exactly who I wanted, and had absolutely no business being here.

Then I played Arlecchino’s story quest.

One thing led to another, I started doing the classic “just a few pulls” routine, and suddenly I had burned through basically my entire savings trying to get her. I lost the 50/50 to C2 Mona and eventually had to force myself to STOP before I started spending money I genuinely need for real-life bills.

So consider this your warning if you’re lurking here because Arlecchino is tempting you while you’re saving for Vesna or somebody else: DO NOT OPEN THE WISH SCREEN THINKING YOU’RE JUST GOING TO BUILD PITY. That is how the demons get you.

On the bright side, I’m sitting at around 30 pity with a guarantee now, so the Vesna fund has officially entered its rebuilding era. Back to quests, exploration and scraping Teyvat clean.

Arlecchino, I love you, but apparently, we’re going to have to be a rerun romance. There's a Jade Spear with your name on it.

✦ C2 Wriothesley + C2 Clorinde ✦ Spiral Abyss 12 | StellarConduct × Lunar-Charged

I’ve been having SO much fun playing Wriothesley again lately. Odette has honestly breathed new life into him for me and made me fall in love with playing him all over again.

I finally decided to record one of my Spiral Abyss runs, so I figured I’d share it here! This one features my C2 Wriothesley + C2 Odette, along with my C2 Clorinde on the other side.

This is actually my first time recording and uploading a full Abyss run, so I’m still figuring everything out as I go I’m planning to slowly start trickling out more Genshin content and showcases as I get more comfortable with it (and slowly upgrade my setup lol), and I’ll probably share some of that here when I have something fun!

If anyone is interested in the builds/cons/weapons for either team, I can post those later too.

Mostly just wanted to share because I’m having a ridiculous amount of fun with Wrio again. :)

Dire Clear (C2 Wrio / C1 Zibai / C2 Mualani)

My first time recording a run, will work on editing and encoding the video to a higher quality in the future but just wanted to see if my PC could handle recording, I also had never used OBS prior to this so be easy on me! But would also love any and all feedback, thanks for watching :)
