I need ideas for my dog’s Halloween costume!

This is not the typical post, I know but I’m trying to decide what to dress my dog up as for Halloween. She’s been a flamingo, off brand Wonder Woman and a hot dog (unfortunately couldn’t find any pictures of that)

I sew and crochet so no need to rely on store bought costumes. She’s just a teensy baby (10 pounds) so nothing overwhelming detailed and while she loves wearing clothes (dress, sweaters, shirts, jackets, etc) She is not a fan of headwear or footwear and will make her displeasure known.
She’s also part dachshund which opens up a whole other avenue of possibilities.

I’m also totally up for a matching costume set if anyone has ideas for that.

(The picture of her in a sweater doesn’t actually have anything to do with Halloween but it’s one of my favourite pictures of her so I threw it in there too)

Trying to find a pattern for this wrap skirt thing

Apologies for the weird crop, I tried to take screenshots but not doxx the creator at the same time.

Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for this type of skirt? Or even just a name I can search for?

It seems to be two large pieces sewn up the sides to roughly hip level. The back piece has fasteners/straps to connect in the front and the front has the same.

I know there’s also versions of this for shorts, pants and top but Google images/Pinterest isn’t helping me find a tutorial or pattern specifically for this skirt. I can’t even find the name/channel for this creator.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I’m having a panic attack over my new hair colour

I hate this disorder so much. I second guess everything I do or say or think until I’m paralyzed with fear or sadness.

I’ve always been a bit of a risk taker when it comes to my hair; short of shaving it off I’ve done basically everything a person can do with their hair, chopped it off, grew it out, and dyed it just about every colour under the sun.

My anxiety has been overwhelming lately so I figured why not try something new to shake off the shadows for a while.

Of course it didn’t turn out the exact way I wanted but I kind of liked it once it was done, flash forward to now where I’m laying in bed, unable to sleep because my brain keeps screaming at me about how stupid my hair looks.

It’s hair!! I can buy another colour and fix it tomorrow but somehow my anxiety riddled brain has just about convinced me that anything short of perfection is a disgusting moral failing.

I’m so tired of my brain being such an asshole and ruining everything that could possibly give me joy.

ADHD friendly ways to get in shape

Help! I need recommendations for exercise classes/work outs/something other than hanging around my apartment all day.

I’m out of shape and I hate it. But every time I’ve tried going to the gym or following some YouTube exercise routine I always end up giving up.

I have asthma and loose ligaments (my doctors are exploring the possibility of Ehlers Danlos) and I also have supremely shitty ankles so running/hiking isn’t great and I always manage to push myself too hard doing yoga and end up hurting myself (What do you mean the human body isn’t supposed to move like that? Wait, why am I in so much pain?)

I take my dog for a walk around the block twice a day (10 ish minutes each) but not much else.

I’ve been interested in things like archery, pole dancing, even axe throwing in the past but there aren’t many specialty gyms near me and unfortunately I don’t think my landlord would approve of me installing a stripper pole in my living room.

Any suggestions on specific exercises or even ways to stick with a fitness routine would be much appreciated.

I’m just starting to learn ASL and I’ve been wondering about nouns as names and which signs apply.

For instance: my dog’s name is Wednesday, would I finger spell her name or use the sign for the day of the week?

Other examples would be Summer, Faith, Lily, etc.
