90% hydration focaccia

I have been working in getting the focaccia I love, and I think I nailed it, took me several attempts but I think I did it! ChatGPT helped to share with you guys the recipe, my husband said it was the best bread ever!

If you make it I hope you love it as much as we did!

Cheese and roasted garlic ciabatta

I am in-love with this tbh! I add d roasted garlic that I bought from Whole Foods and some non smoked provolone and smoked Gouda for this recipe! Can’t believe this is so easy to make!

Ciabatta / focaccia

Was trying to make ciabatta bread, but it was getting late and I didn’t want to get the counter full of flour so I kinda made a big ciabatta that looks like a focaccia and taste really good lol!

Supposed to be ciabatta

I know is not a focaccia, I’m working on it, I was going to make ciabatta bread but was too lazy to put the counter full of flour, so good!

Working on the starter for my first focaccia!

Why some Publix are better than others?

A friend brought to a party some breaded chicken wings and those were amazing, so crispy kinda like Korean fried chicken wings, my husband went to get chicken wings the other day and they were meh…

Can you make a special request when ordering? I know my friend didn’t she just got them at the deli

Prime roast

Bought this prime roast months ago and immediately put them in the freezer knowing I was not going to cook it anytime soon! It was $8.99 per pound so kinda like $65 I spent, today I made it and gosh best thing ever for real!

Didn’t take a pic after slicing it but last one was a to go one for my in-laws!

Sides were horseradish mashed potatoes and some baby carrots, broccoli and onions and of course some au jus!

For real next time I am buying 2!

I have to say those are decent!

Bought them a couple days ago and first time using them, for the price I am not complaining tbh! And they are very easy to clean!

Is this color ok?

The blurriness is because of the condensation taking them out of the fridge to take a pic! I know the garlic turning blue is because of the acid and being on a dark place, I am wondering if that’s the same that is happening with the jars that I added red pepper flakes 🤷🏻‍♀️

u/Then-Ad1871 — 3 months ago

What do you think about the color?

The blurry is condensation from the fridge but I did put red pepper flakes on the spears and the small mason jar, I know the garlic is fine that’s due to the acid and being for 3 days in a dark place, wondering if the red is because of the same?

Second batch!

One of my favorite ones are the Claussen pickles! I search all over for the copycat and found something I thought it might be! Started on Thursday night, they have been in my pantry since then, tomorrow to the fridge for 3 more days!

Don’t think I will be able to wait 3 more days lol!

Anyone has the recipe? This one I used was 6 cups of water, 2 of vinegar, 1/2 salt, mustard seeds, pepper corn, yellow onion, garlic and dill!

Claussen pickles copycat?

We love the Claussen pickles, does anyone have a copycat recipe that can share? I looked online trying to make them but not sure at all!

We got some chuck roast and Korean pears on the Asian market. pears are good by it self, but I also read they are an amazing tenderizer for beef, thinking about blending one and marinate the chuck/charles before SV, any thoughts?

Do they look ok?

Sanitized the jars, boiled vinegar, water, sugar and salt, then as recipe said… added the cucumbers with garlic, dill pepper corn and dill in one and red flakes, mustard powder (I didn’t have the seeds) dill and garlic, recipe said add the add everything as soon as you boils the jars so I did, liquid was hot.

I’d like so advice, should I just throw it away or wait?
