Is this color ok?

The blurriness is because of the condensation taking them out of the fridge to take a pic! I know the garlic turning blue is because of the acid and being on a dark place, I am wondering if that’s the same that is happening with the jars that I added red pepper flakes 🤷🏻‍♀️

What do you think about the color?

The blurry is condensation from the fridge but I did put red pepper flakes on the spears and the small mason jar, I know the garlic is fine that’s due to the acid and being for 3 days in a dark place, wondering if the red is because of the same?

Second batch!

One of my favorite ones are the Claussen pickles! I search all over for the copycat and found something I thought it might be! Started on Thursday night, they have been in my pantry since then, tomorrow to the fridge for 3 more days!

Don’t think I will be able to wait 3 more days lol!

Anyone has the recipe? This one I used was 6 cups of water, 2 of vinegar, 1/2 salt, mustard seeds, pepper corn, yellow onion, garlic and dill!

Claussen pickles copycat?

We love the Claussen pickles, does anyone have a copycat recipe that can share? I looked online trying to make them but not sure at all!

We got some chuck roast and Korean pears on the Asian market. pears are good by it self, but I also read they are an amazing tenderizer for beef, thinking about blending one and marinate the chuck/charles before SV, any thoughts?

Do they look ok?

Sanitized the jars, boiled vinegar, water, sugar and salt, then as recipe said… added the cucumbers with garlic, dill pepper corn and dill in one and red flakes, mustard powder (I didn’t have the seeds) dill and garlic, recipe said add the add everything as soon as you boils the jars so I did, liquid was hot.

I’d like so advice, should I just throw it away or wait?
