I just noticed that this valve is leaking. The pipe is coming from the hot water tank.
Do I need to have that one section of the copper pipe replaced and put on a new valve? Why is that valve even there? Sorry, I’m a novice when it comes to plumbing.
I have a 2010 Toyota Prius 3rd Gen and I’ve read that the 2010-2015 are notorious for blown head gaskets. Does this car have a temperature gauge because I can’t find one on my car. If not, I can see why so many have blown head gaskets. Can anyone recommend a reliable temp gauge of some sort so I know if the car’s temp is rising or starting to overheat. Where would I connect something like that? Also, Keeping a code reader plugged in is not a solution.
Doing brakes for the first time. Took this off my 2006 Toyota Solara with 166,000 miles. The face of the rotor is smooth and no deep grooves but the outer edges have a lot more rust. Should it be completely replaced?
My friend has a 2014 Toyota Prius (Gen 3, 1.8L 2ZR-FXE engine. His Prius overheated and he blew a head gasket and he’s now having to find a used engine- preferably under 70,000 miles with a clean history.
Can anyone recommend legitimate places that sell used engines with a warranty?
