Bought a collection of redline Hot Wheels and the guy gave me a bunch of old Matchbox cars along with them. All of them are in excellent condition, this one is my favorite out of the 12.

Watching this video on YouTube and thought “hey that’s neat, I have the same cars”. Paused it to have a better look and said “hey wait a minute….those ARE my cars”.

I ended up with my Dads toy collection when he died. Of course. Among other things he liked cars and trucks that advertise real products and had 150 or so.
He didn’t have a brand loyalty like I do so there are vehicles of all sorts, they just had to fit the theme.

These are the only blackwalls he had so I thought I’d share them with you guys. The Dominos Pizza delivery Chevettes are Ertl pieces, I’ve included them simply because they’re cool and I’m betting no one else here has one.

Mattel used to send these to collectors when you bought your billionth Hot Wheel. Or something like that.

Maybe I’ll open the rest of them one of these days.

I’m not a collector and this spent a week in my pants pocket. Is this considered an error or is it just a typical occurrence?
