The best stories are often ongoing

I’ve noticed this a lot. It is really sad honestly. I told myself I’ll stop reading ongoing stories to save myself the disappointment as some of my favourites will never be completed and haven’t been updated in years. I don’t know how to explain the feeling but everyone has probably been there. So if anyone wants to recommend good unfinished stories, I decided if I can’t beat them, I’d rather join them. So I’ll just enjoy the story as it is.

Also don’t get me wrong, there are so many of the best stories that are complete - without a rushed ending. And to those authors, immense respect as well.

You should be able to add anyone as a trusted connection.

Cannot speak with my little brother in-game. Has caused miscommunication when we aren’t with each other irl. Limiting it to 13+ genuinely makes no sense, seeing as people have family/children. Some people are even 13, unable to add their 12 year old friend as a trusted connection. Roblox even has a “parent account” feature and parents can’t even speak with their children. Many people face this issue. They could at least add a verifying method.

It is ridiculous to stop reading a book or watching a show you really enjoyed just because you find out AI was used in a scene.

It really shouldn’t be that serious

Why do some Scottish people hate English people?

Hi, I’ve seen examples of hate on TikTok & Reddit recently due to the WC. Idk why. Scotland is in Britain but I’ve seen a lot of them say that they’re not British so idk if they will even be on this sub.

If the replies are only unwarranted insults and not even answering the question I’ll just delete this

Need help finding story: ‘It Started With A Bet’ (or ‘Dare’)?

There was a story I read years ago, around 2018-2016 or before that. I really don’t remember unfortunately.

The main character was a girl called Danielle. There were two love interests - Nick and Noah who were brothers. I literally remember that the story was titled ‘It Started With A Dare’ or ‘It Started With A Bet’ - I specifically remember this unless I’m somehow wrong, further proved as I also remember when the Episode Official story ‘It Starts With a Bra’ came out AFTER I was actively reading/had finished reading this dare story, I noted to myself how similar the titles are with pretty much only one word being switched around.

The story was about the bet (or dare idk) where Nick’s friend dared him to make Danielle fall for him. Eventually, he did while feeling regretful as he caught true feelings for her but Danielle found out about the bet at some point. I remember a main choice where the reader chose whether to be with Nick or Noah, and a choice where the reader decided whether to >!sleep with!< Nick or not. There was a scene where their initials ‘D + N’ were traced by them somewhere while they were at the beach or somewhere similar.

I can’t remember if the story had character customisation for the MC (Danielle who was white and yellow blonde with diva curls) but all the names were static and unchangeable. Every character’s look was uncustomisable: Nick and Noah were both white (Nick possibly being tan) and yellow blonde. Nick had the older Trey Bailey, Pompous/Pompadour hairstyle, while Noah had the Episode 1 younger Trey Bailey hairstyle, I can’t find what it’s called. Nick’s friend’s hair who dared him was auburn/dark brown?

I’m unsure about these next points as I don’t want to guess when I don’t fully remember but these might help in finding the story: I think Nick and Noah were twins? The story was based in high school maybe?

Would love to be able to find this story or at least know if it has been completely removed from Episode. I’ve searched and not found it or any mention of it at all. I don’t think it was an unknown story at the time, though. Stories (with an author I’d never heard of) called “The Bet” and “The Dare” showed up when I was looking for the story but it is not these. Thank you for reading as I know this is long.

So Disappointing

I’m not even kidding I spent 4 hours customising all the characters (I always take forever) and no hate to the author, I don’t know what I was expecting I was wondering if it would be like Chain Reaction. And it is but like a worse more boring version. I also thought it was a newer story. I feel mean writing this but dang these Alpha stories are cringing me out rn

Who could Artemis’ Partner with her children be? Play Dirty by Yves

Absolutely my favourite author and story. [BEWARE SPOILERS]

I think something like this will be revealed:
Apollo is not killing Asher or Asher’s Mum because of the fact that Hermes (Asher’s Dad) is a ring master. Like, since they work together, Hermes probably said that his own family is off limits to hurt. So Apollo probably agreed/promised. That’s just my guess. Though, I don’t have any ideas for how Hermes got involved with the twins and Ring. Unfortunately, I don’t think Apollo is just a nice person that just wants to protect Asher, like some people are saying.

But yeah, since their identities are revealed to Daria’s whole friend group now + Elias, they probably will not let them all leave freely - they may sadly kill or try to recruit some of them; linking to the request. Also, I am glad that the Ring Masters have finally been revealed and that they are who I thought they were. And yeah, holding on to the hope and fact that there’s still much of the storyline to be revealed, so they will live.

I think Laura Jorgeton probably got a head injury from being shoved off the ledge in Lewis by Rosalie when they were children. And the older boy (Apollo - Paul) telling her that Lewis ended up in flames due to their faith - she probably believed him. And believes whatever he says to her. Hence the “enlighten me”, believing she must repay all her sins towards him, ignoring Paige when she saw her in trouble with Owen since Mr Jorgeton told her about men’s desires needing to be satisfied, etc. And they got together and had Maisie and overall restarted the Ring (with others.)
As for who Artemis got together with to have Icarus Lewis (who I believe is Russ) and Samuel, I am not sure and wonder if anyone has any ideas. Hoping Elias can maybe do something right, and the fact that both his parents are low-key crazy is just sad. Once he finds out Russ is dead and Apollo (Paul) lied to him, maybe he will hopefully try and go against the Ring since he seems to somewhat care about revenge.

But are the Ring Master’s really that heartless to kill Icarus (Artemis’ literal son and Apollo’s nephew) but paint it as suicide? Maybe..

And I’m glad that Daria called her family friend police chief Grant and spoke about the Ring - hopefully they get some help and have more people on their side.

Yves is truly an amazing author.
