Are there any PMD Rescue Team ROMhacks worth considering?

Currently playing through Explorers of Fortune and while it does introduce a lot of welcome changes, I do find myself missing a lot of the underrated features and the story from Blue Rescue Team (such as friend areas and base customization)

I do have the switch remake but I wanna dig into the nostalgia a bit more than that. New pokemon, new postgame content, that kinda stuff?

Whatever happened to Ohmwrecker?

He used to play a ton of multiplayer games with friends then a while back he started solo queueing all the time, and nowadays it seems all he ever plays is DBD and other, similar games

Is it possible to set up a map like the biosyn sanctuary in sandbox?

A lot of these campaign maps in JWE3 have enclosures that have natural borders which I assume are programmed in a way that cant really be recreated yourself. Like I imagine map edges and cliffs are a hard rule for me, and a suggestion for dinosaurs being enclosed. On this topic... I think covered paths would be a great addition to the game.

I dont know why Reddit send me a notification to post this here, but whatever??

What is the use case of giving dinosaurs anything but Humble/Social/Tolerant?

Mainly wondering if quenched or small appetite reduce the amount of foliage/water is needed in an enclosure? I assume I'd rather have thirsty/hungry for photo mode diversity points. Resilient is only needed if you have storms that cause sickness, and sometimes you want the hybrids to die by disease if they end up acting up. Lifespan is eh, never noticed it playing a big role even in longer campaigns.

I am not sure about the difference between compatibility and fertility. Dinosaurs that aren't compatible have a low chance to breed, but they still can. Does fertility increase clutch size, or also improve chances of breeding? Are these traits at all useful for getting a feeder population in a mixed carnivore/herbivore pen so dinos dont gotta eat goats all the time?

Humility, hugely reduces the amount of landscaping a dino needs to be comfy, good.

Social, dinos socialize more for photo ops, and their area need scales slower with their population?

TOlerant, I dont really house dinos together unless they like each other so i dont get that much out of it, but it's nice not to have my carnivores in a constant state of drugged up euphoria because they refuse to chill.

Comfort, doesn't seem very useful unless you know the pen you're putting a dino in isn't going to be big enough for all their needs.

And combat traits. Attack and defense seem obvious, do more damage when attacking, take less when being attacked (didnt help my Indorex when i pit it against 4 carnotaurs)

And finally stamina. What does stamina even effect? How long panicked dinos spend running? Can dinos only attack if they have stamina, otherwsie being forced to receive damage?

Anyways, curious if I already found the meta, or if there are reasons to branch out into other genes. The health genes especially confuse me.

Any way to mitigate the odds of getting an aggressive dino?

Trying to cohabitate my raptors with an indominus rex and really dont want the rex to just kill them all one after the other. My favorite exhibit in 2 was a big pen with lots of raptors and some rexies.

How the hell do I find this last unhappy dino?

I've gone through all my pens, removed all the unhappy dinos and I still cant get this last % to 5 star indonesia. Not a single dino is anything other than thriving. Is there some hidden management view option for it or something? It's driving me nuts.

How to use the structured breeding program?

I open the menu on the nest but cant seem to do anything with it. Cant click on male or female to assign dinos, not even a highlight. The start program says i need to assign scientists first. Do I need to wait for them to occupy this nest on their own or what?

The bots in this game fucking suck

So often when just playing with me and my friend the bots will see one of us go down, move towards us, then teleport to the player who isnt downed while we get to sit there and die. We just have to watch these utterly useless level 0 veteran bots with zero perks try to fend off a horde instead of revive us, or be dawdling halfway across the map while one of us is rushing for a rescue. They're not just stupid, they're utterly useless to the point of being an active detriment and not an alternative way to play in small private groups.

Yes, I had a fun round 5 minutes ago, can you tell?

Every time I load a special disease save it removes the tab for my abilities and effectively bricks my run. This is a mobile game that has to be put down at a moment's notice and when my phone is off, sometimes it closes apps to free resources. Please tell me there's some secret trick to getting these to come back.
