Some LOUD units not working?

I put on the recommanded mod package for LOUD and some (not all) units from Total mayhem just flat out dont work.

-they have a missing icon in the unit database

-they have no animation when moving, just sliding around

-Whiel they aim at targets, they never attack with any of their weapons

Is it a known issue (maybe a conflict with FaF even though I use a separate profile?) How may I fix it? or are those units just unuseable?

Werewolf losing rank and gifts

Something I am unsure of anymore; what happens to a werewolf's gifts when their rank, roe a reaosn of another, falls below the required one for one if their gifts (biggex exemple for me would be a werewolf using the rite of renunciation since it sends them back to rank one).

Im fairly certain they done lose the gifts, but are they still able to use them or do they have to wait until they are of the right rank again? And if so, what is the lore explanation for it?

Items you never pick up

Curious what are the items you never pick up (or only with the intent to sell them) because you dont see yourself using them in a run.

For me I can list the following:

-painkillers. I find that I rarely need painkillers. Waiting out the pain works fine in most situations, and if not I usually have much bigger concerns than the pain itself... and dont think pain was ever the thing that prevented me from treating myself. Exception is the almighty fent, if I find a dose of it I tend to keep it as a way to put down the expie peacefully when things go horribly wrong

-Defibrillators. Likewise, i feel that if i ever come to need it something went HORRIBLY wrong already. When fibrillation starts the game is basically already over because it usually means I have other problems i am in no position to fix

Brain damage and metal taste

Something that puzzle sme right there: a brain damaged expy will often emntion that they "taste metal" and I am curious what that refers to since I dont see the link between brain damage and having a metallic taste in your mouth

Anyone else not liking the entity's addition?

I really dont like its addition to the game. While sure having an unknowable entity following you around and watching you can be creepy, it kinda kills the feeling of loneliness, as well as make all the lines the expeie has some choice word to some unseen entity kess impactful because they dont feel as aimed towards the player himelf anymore. And overall the story already has more than enough going on already without randomly stapling in some sort of supernatural sentient entity.

Anyone else feeling the game was better off without it?

Why the timer?

I know the timer is canon in the game as a way to force expies sent down to keep moving down, but .. how canonnically widespread of a practice is it really? I mean all those survivors that make their home in pods certainly dont seem in a hurry to move down, and woildnt letting the specimens take their time increase chances of success? Its not like they can escape anyway, and while the company doesnt care about how many die they would very much like having that piece of tech back

So its it just a few select experiments that get "picked" to move down faster? Or is every survivor somehow unchipped and thus cant be forced to hurry down?

Silver bullets and contact damage

It's something I have a hard time to reconcile... to werewolves, contact with silver deals aggravated damage every turn the werewolf is in contact with it. But then, as broken as that would be.. wouldnt being shot with a silver bullet means the werewolf starts "melting" from the inside if the bullet is stuck in their body?

And seeign how they dont do that (and thank god because imagine having to tear your own chest open mid-combat to get the bullet out or die anyway), is there any canon reason why it doesnt happen and that silver bullets more or less just behave like a normal lead bullet would for a standard human?
