Hello they, thee, and themtlement, I am 24 male australian. I may have to move to Knoxville for work but I do not know what is the general vibe there.
Would be great if you can give me some recommendations, i.e., where people hangout, is it like a chill city, what people normally do on the weekends, where is the good place to stay, etc.

A bit about me if that’s important. I like history, maths, and literature. Currently have an undergrad in pure and a master in applied maths. I don’t mind a bit of a dead city because I grew up in Port Noarlunga and it is quite dead tbh, but the beaches are nice. I normally read for fun, and I love reading, either at home or in a coffee shop. I love going for a walk, either a bush walk or just a normal trail. I visited Vancouver and Toronto before and let just say, I didn’t have a very good time. But if Knoxville is chill and the people are cool, like Brisbane, then I would say it is a great city.

I’m from Adelaide, South Australia, and I’ll be in Kingston for work from 8th (Monday) to 10th of June, and I’m not too familiar with the area. Thus, I’m here for some recommendation.

I love hiking and anything nature-y, so I’d love suggestions for good trails, parks, stuffs like that; but I don’t know how to drive so please not too far :c .

And also any recommendations on where to stay and places to eat would also be really appreciated!
(I can’t eat fish, seafood, hot/spicy food due to medical conditions).
