Hello! I'm a recent grad, coming out of a BAH degree from Canada (Queen's University), I studied History and English Literature. I have top grades and lots of good experience in museums (~3 years) and archives (~1 year) and am looking for a job in Napa in heritage (museums, archives, Jewish or Russian institutions).

I'm wondering what the job market in heritage is like right now? Last summer in Kingston, I sent endless applications and took two months to get accepted to a museum, which was honestly luck. What's it like here in Napa now? I am going to live in the American Canyon with my aunt for a while.

What's it like here in SF now? My aunt says it's not as bad as people make it out to be but she has a pretty sick job, so. If anybody knows about Napa Valley, that would be great too - I am going to live in the American Canyon with my aunt for a while.

I am wondering how deciding individuals for the recipients of certain scholarships for incoming graduates of undergrad Honour's ArtSci programs that include criteria, among others, like "contributed to campus life" and "continuing to grad studies," are aware of a student's doings? I contributed to campus life through leadership and membership in an AMS ratified club, for example, and am continuing to grad studies, though not this next year but in 2027-28. Should I email the awards office and inform them of this, or is this being too full of myself and they won't like it? I have a high academic standing and am really hoping for some awards as I am struggling financially right now.

As well, do we know if awards that don't explicitly state to which student's year they apply, they are open to graduating undergrads?

Hello, I've seen numerous threads discussing this over the years but everything I've tried has failed. I'm trying to stack two positions that I've had at different times with the same company in LinkedIn, and truly nothing works. I have ensured the companies are spelled the same way, they're far enough away in time from each other that they should stack, I've tried having and then taking away other bits of info (location, employment type, etc etc), I've made the position name different, nothing. What can I do? I have three positions stacked under a different company that is still up just fine.

Hello! I would love some help translating a poem written in German by a woman of German heritage who emigrated from a Mennonite colony in Russia to Canada in 1924. This is for a research paper on emigrant expressions of their relationship with their homeland. Here is the poem:
