If Sakuya is actually Sakuyahime, then that would make her Miko's great grandmother. Here she is being proud of her grandson.

ZUN retroactively made EoSD better by suggesting Remilia's real plan was to help Sakuya make friends:

If Flandre didn't mind being in the basement, then why did she name a spell card after her time there?

"An age of dark would have been good, but because of Gwyn it won't be."

The idea that because Gwyn extended the age of fire by a bit, that an age of dark will be tainted if it does happen.

It's a sentiment I see a lot in the community and I'm wondering if there's a clear source for it.

It feels like people finding more reasons to blame Gwyn for stuff and I find it takes a lot of nuance out of the setting.

Not only did Remi take Flan to the danmaku festival, but they even performed together!

Do Laharl and Killia lack a unique gimmick?

They dont seem to have a recurring gimmick compared to the other protagonists.

Adell hits the hardest. Mao does the science stuff. Valvatorez has the vampiric hp/stat drain. Killia used to have multiple moves, but that was Overload dependent. Zed is the reincarnation guy. Fuji will probably keep his sword gimmick.

Current Laharl and Killia dont seem to have a mechanical identity.

Should Cirno have been a Fairy Maid? It would make the cast of EoSD more faction focused.

Is this the gayest handholding in the series? Does anything else in Touhou come close?

It's possible that Remilia is a Vlad fangirl and "Dracula the Vampire" is her race swap fanfiction she manipulated fate for Bram Stoker to write about.
