Update: I attended the "LGBTQ+" Never Strangers event, it was ummm

Disclaimer: this is MY personal experience so maybe it would be different than yours.

As I've stated in my other post, I was curious about this for the longest time so I just said fuck it, I wanna try it out. No matter what happens, at least I got to experience it hahaha. Anyhow, I came there alone, going to an event and a bar alone for the first time was nerve wracking tbh! But coming into it, I know didn't have any expectations coming into the event but grabe I expected a mix of LGBTQ+ talaga but puro G and B lang T.T I would've felt more comfortable if mas diverse yung crowd huhu but diverse naman yung crowd talaga in terms of looks and personalities so that's great I guess!

The night worked out through various rounds of ice breakers, a human bingo, and meeting up with your matches for the night, then an "afterparty" which I'll delve into more later. I would say the most fun part was definitely the ice breakers because it's so fun to talk to people you don't know and without phones pa!! And at that point, at least for me, wala pa pressure to answer a certain way, which was definitely what I felt sa matches portion.

The matches worked by answering a bunch of questions before the event and they'll match you with your top 3 matches in terms of how compatible you all are with the answers you questioned. In theory, it works out great! Kasi mostly about values and stuff yung questions. But as with other people I met throughout the night, the questions are too pang straight. They lacked the nuances we required for the LGBTQ crowd, at least specifically for gay people like if TVB Sides etc ba sila, among other questions. And same with other people I met rin, we felt na we were in a job interview and we had to perform a certain way T.T maybe it was just us hahaha but I did try my best to be true to myself and lo and behold we just got more IG followers we won't talk to ever again bwhahaha loljk.

Now to the afterparty, I lowkey expected it to be like a REAL afterparty where we would dance and mingle some more with the crowd but damn, walang ganun na nangyari hahaha it's definitely just "bahala na kayo dyan" kasi the music ain't bopping, the crowd was leaving, so ayun thanks nalang for the people I met sa afterparty debrief hahaha.

All in all, I also like na most of us first time talaga makapunta and super nice that everyone got to talk and no one uses their phone as much, which we truly truly need nowadays, but idk if it's the way the event was set up or our generation is just cooked but dang or maybe it's a skill / looks issue on my end / other people I met rin but it's truly hard to meet people nowadays hahaha. Back to the apps after a few days then quit uli LOL

Anyone attended a Never Strangers event?

Looking to join the LGBTQ event on August 15. I saw Never Strangers last year pa on tiktok, and haven't tried attending one at all but I just wanted to try something different. Sawa na ko sa dating apps tbh.

Anyone got any stories/lessons to share? What to look out for, are these only for 'attractive' people, is the fee worth it etc?

BPI Credit Limit Increase?

I'm a new Credit Card user ni BPI, Around start of January nagsimula to be exact, and my credit limit is still relatively small compared sa other cards ko. When shall I expect to receive a credit limit increase? Sa 6 month mark ko ba? Or shall I request via the website? I don't even have access sa madness limit hahaha

A6 vs Non A6 Lacrimosa - Yesterday's melody

I just noticed that the outfit is glowing all around as opposed to her Non-A6 counterpart (the Lacrimosa spawning with you during her vehicle shotguns). So cool!

Help with E2S2 Build: more speed or more crit dmg?

It's my first time min-maxing a character this much, and I've used up around 60K relic remains (not even kidding) just for Silverwolf 999 since I love her so much.

I've encountered 2 good head pieces but I'm struggling to pick whether more speed is better or choose the better-rated headpiece, with more focus on crit dmg. I understand that getting 200/201 spd is the bare minimum, but is the 6~ speed tradeoff worth it for the better crit dmg stats?

For context, my team atm is:
E2S1 Sparxie
E0S0 YG
E2S2 Huohuo / E2S1 Hyacine
