What is the chronological order?

I've started re-reading all the books with my daughter and always assumed that the correct order was that displayed on the back. But a third of the way through Cigars of the Pharaoh, the sheikh pulls out a copy of Destination Moon!

Not that I'm bothered as we're not reading in any order, just picking the next one my daughter is most keen on reading but I am rather curious about it.

I'm being taxed twice.

In my work I claim my mileage from my employer to cover fuel, wear and tear etc. it is paid at the end of the month as part of my wage for which I am taxed when I have already paid tax for the fuel.

A colleague of mine made me aware of this and completed something which enabled him to claim this tax back. Unfortunately he left before I could make a note of it.

Any ideas?

Edit: I'm in the UK. Apologies for any confusion.

Do you know anyone with surname as a forename who married someone with a surname the same as their forename?

Bit of a convoluted question, but I've just had a colleague announce the birth of their child, and they've given her a surname as a forename, Lacey.

It seems to be a trend right now with names live Cooper, Riley, Finley, Hudson etc. all names that I've come across recently.

Anyway, I appreciate that females no longer are obligated to their new spouses name but has got me thinking if there are any Riley Riley's out there.

You need cash to book in at Bring and Buy!

I didn't know this, having queued for over an hour! Luckily a stranger in the station next to me overheard and gave me the funds!

He's my hero!

If you know Ben, keep him close, look after him, he's a good one!
