The expensive one is a bit faster, which is not that big of a deal with orchestrators, slightly better physical contact, which again is not a big deal because with even the Norway pack one has really high dribbling stats so he can turn away fast and pass the ball before getting bullied.

The no1 rule is DO NOT MAKE THE GAME TOO SKILL BASED. This is why you will always have some form of script or smart assist. Even if they remove smart assist, it will stay there in some way.
There will always be professionals who are so skillfull and have such a good connection that they can win most games regardless of the obstacle, but even the best players in the world, when you give them a weak team, struggle sometimes. This is a minority so it does not affect the business model. The majority will be a victim of DDA.
No2 is ANCHORING. Make the price high, make it seem normal. 120 euros for a loot box, make that a norm, so that when you see something for less, a Van Dijk or a Salah box, or a discount, people will think ''this is a good offer!'' . Also, anchor it in a way that you have one or two great players, but the third one is meh, so when you get a box with 3 good players you are like ''this is it!''.
Then there is RARITY. For example, the 250 boxes, or you intentionally release anchor man Vieira once in 2 years so that people feel like they have to use the opportunity to buy him.
And so on. It's all in the video. Basically, you need DDA/script to keep people spending and it won't go away, that's the business model.
But...there is one tricky thing that might cost Konami in the long run. This one is my personal opinion. And that's the point in the video where he explains how players don't want to feel like they lost something. And due to the power creep, the cards that you paid a certain amount of money for are suddenly not OP anymore, but you spent precisely in order to have OP players, and I think a significant portion of the playerbase will leave because they will feel like they wasted their money. I have already played against a significant amount of players that have older epics but they stopped spending because they realized it is not worth it.
Keep in mind, eFootball brags about 1 billion downloads. They do not mention that 97% percent of those people have deleted the game. It has 35M active users, 30M+ is on mobile. I am optimistic that due to the power creep people will start leaving, it has happened before, but since now it is worse than ever, it has to have an effect.
It's a minor thing, nobody here has mentioned it yet. You can't just let AI vs AI play the full game, you can't go somewhere, make lunch, drink coffe and smoke, or whatever else, without coming back after half-time just to press continue.
There used to be a timer and the game would continue until the end. This was intentional, just another detail to keep you engaged. And its mildly infuriating. I have stopped playing AI games just because of this.

Čitam komentare na ovaj članak na indexu i ljudi su naravno zgroženi. Kao jadne životinje, kako netko može tako postupati, itd.
A kada je bilo riječ o farmama pilića, glavno pitanja su bila - ekološka i ekonomska. Zagadit će nam te farme rijeke, bit će puno smrada, ugrožavaju naše uzgajivače, itd.
Ok, da, istina. Ali...što je sa desetinama milijuna pilića koja bi se tu držala u kavezima i trpala antibioticima? Nekoliko pasa - strava i užas. Deseci milijuna - i to samo pilića, ne računamo druge životinje koje se tako uzgajaju za hranu. I to opet na razini Hrvatske, ne na razini 80 milijardi ubijenih godišnje na globalnoj razini.
Ponavljam, nije namjera da se tu sad netko napada. Danas nisam takvog raspoloženja. Nego eto, zanimljivo pitanje o reakcijama Hrvata na aktualne vijesti, tome i služi subreddit između ostalog.

Ali usred ovog priloga u Dnevniku o ovim psima je bio jedan psihijatar, on je pričao o mogućim poremećajima ''vlasnika'' ovih pasa. Rekao je da je vjerojatno riječ o antisocijalnom poremećaju, i da ti ljudi često imaju osjećaj da su bolji od drugih ljudi odnosno drugih bića, pa na ovaj način zanemaruju životinje. I ja si gledam taj Dnevnik, pušim cigaru, pijem kafu, i zapitam se... Čekaj malo... Ali zar mi upravo ne radimo to svi, ako gledamo na ove pse onda kao na životinje više vrijednosti od pilića koji su trebali biti u Sisačkoj županiji? Ili drugih živina iz factory farming grane. Pa mi je to malo prodrmalo mozak, jer onda ispadamo svi antisocijalni. Ili sam nešto tu pobrkao?

EDIT: I will not respond to useless comments about the price or the squad. This is not a chit-chat subreddit, it's a sales forum. I am not here to argue with you on how much the account is worth if you haven't done any research on supply and demand.
Personal opinion: the players are going to slowly get tired of the power creep, once we see triple booster or tripple p2w skills on players, overall ratings that are getting higher again.
They might also introduce synergy or something similar to team chemistry. Whatever they do, they have to make the cards stronger and those who paid already to build a strong team will refuse to pay again for the same cards.
Not all. There will be whales. But many will be frustrated. The dolphins due to card depreciation and the f2p base that can't compete.
Also... GTA 6. I think a chunk would rather spend on gta online then on player cards. Much cheaper but new and relevant.
In short, eFootball wont go away, their cost is low compared to massive profits. But I believe many players are near the edge and the new op cards combined with lack of content and innovation along with the most anticipated game coming will push them over that edge.

How can someone miss EVERY blitz curler? I've tried all possible combinations of builds. I even tried this latest build with 97 finishing, 95 curl. This dude just can't score a blitz. Not even against bad defenses, not even when completely alone.
He loses the ball in tight spaces regardless of magnetic feet and high PC. Not to mention he can't pass and has low stamina.
He is basically a p2w version of Adama Traore, but with much higher finishing. Only good for running. And that's in one half, because he lacks stamina. But even then he somehow gets caught by Huijsen. You want to put counter target on him? Yeah, but he makes bad runs. You want better runs with higher awareness? You have to sacrifice something else.
Now before someone says ''complaining about a p2w player'' - well yeah, when you have coins that you rarely use and you decide to spend 5 thousand of them, that's the right time to complain. Because I won't open another box I have to save now for months.
Anyway, regardless of his finishing, whether it is 92 or 97, there is zero difference. Every shot goes above the goal. From every position. Edge of the box, outside, inside, doesn't matter.
So, what the hell do I do with him? Those that have him in Division 1, what your G/A?
For me, in around 40 games he barely scored 16 goals.
Last WC had two 105 rated players. This year we already had a couple of 103 free ones. If Konami does not make boxes with 104-106 rated players, it would be a downgrade. But I doubt they will go for 106 with two special skills.
Anyhow, what are we predicting? Mbappe, Yamal, Olise, Dembele, Van Dijk, Bellingham, Kane, Mo Salah?

It doesn't make any sense. They nerfed normal heading just to sell special skills. Not with him, but with all players. This post is not just about Zlatan, it can be about POTW Sorloth or Haaland or any player you own that SHOULD score headers in some situations.
I have had this guy in so many chances where he was a couple of feet away from the goal, either all alone or next to a short defender, he misses around 95% of headers. I have a build where he has around 90 heading and he jumps higher than almost any defender in the game. He also has 99 physical contact.
And yet, that free dude we got from division rewards is more lethal aerially.
Is there a solution to this? Some threshold, does heading need to be at 95?
What about edged crossing, if I manage to get a player with that ability in the future, how much does it help?
Today I got my second Raul. I also have two Drogbas. Some people didn't get either.
It's such a dumb idea, whoever thought of it needs to get fired.
I am mostly writing this because I am angry that I wasted my luck on this. Because I really do think that Konami will give you an epic after a while if you are unlucky or in some other scenario, because that is how slot machines work.
And I wasted my luck on a second Raul. Now I intentionally will not spin for anything for months because I know they won't give me two epics in a row, even tho the first one is horrible.
