What is genuinely the best casino rewards program for out-of-state luxury perks?

I’m getting to that age where I’m ready to be loyal to one casino, so I can start earning status and getting VIP perks, rather than bouncing between multiple places. I’m looking for a place with a good rewards system that has one main casino within a days drive from LA, but also has sister locations for when we want to take trips a little further out. Any recommendations? I’ve been to most of the casinos within 5 hours of LA, but never really paid much attention to their programs.

Best high-limit rooms in Southern California?

I’m in LA and looking for some good high-limit room close by. I typically go out to Vegas or Reno, but starting to get tired of our usual spots. They’re just too busy and too loud for us. Any recommendations for new spots to visit?

Would like somewhere quieter than the typical Vegas casinos or at least somewhere with a VIP area and lounge to get away from the crowds.

Do long reviews have more impact on SEO than star-only ratings?

I was reviewing the metrics of one of our clients the other day, they run short-term vacation rentals through their own website but also use the major OTAs (AirBnB, Booking, etc.) They do everything through the app and the clients don’t have any face-to-face contact with the administrators or staff, except for the cleaning crew on rare occasions, and the building’s security that checks them in. They have 4.6 stars average on most review aggregators, but the thing is, they are mostly just 5 star drops, with no text whatsoever.

Meanwhile, there is a family who run a few rentals on the same street that are really involved in the whole experience. They greet everyone and chat with their guests. Even though the property is a little dated and they have some complaints about their amenities, they are sitting at a 4.1 average, with many of their reviews raving about the staff members by name.

Between these two, guess who is dominating the local map? The 4.1 family spot!

My guess is Google sentiment analysis is prioritizing reviews with depth over sheer stars volume/ranking. Has anyone else seen this? And also, does this mean that star-only reviews are worthless when put up against written reviews for sentiment analysis?

Stripe’s billing fees (not the CC fees) are getting out of hand

I was reviewing our monthly Stripe expenses and we’re approaching $2,500 in just billing logic, not including the processing fees. Maybe I should just suck it up but this seems like such a rip off. I understand paying the 2.9% card fees. Thats going to happen no matter what. But Stripe charging an extra almost 1% just for the billing logic is silly imo. We went with stripe when we were starting out to keep expenses low but now we’re paying out the ass lol. What do you guys think? Just the cost of doing
business or should we switch to someone else? Or maybe even just bring it all in house?
