Astartes 2? Where are you?

Does anyone have a sort of date range for when we can expect the work from the dude who made the Astartes film? Because I've been subscribed to WH+ for a while now, almost exclusively for the animations and tbh its been feeling a bit dry and difficult to use and navigate (i suspect this is somewhat deliberate to obscure the rate of which new content is released). So I'm at the point where I don't feel like I'm getting my moneys worth and the only thing that will keep me subscribed is if I can expect to see the content I want soonish (like a few months or something, but not like 2027).

I don't want to rush the artistic process, but at the same time i remember getting quite excited when I saw the trailer, and then there's just been nothing, or at least nothing I've seen, so I'm hoping that I've missed the release date or something to give me some sort of ray of light, because at the moment I just feel like that trailer tricked me into paying for something I probably would've stopped a while ago, because I'm far from financially comfortable, but I love everything WH40k so I want to support it, I just don't feel like I'm getting what I wanted from the support I'm giving and it doesn't feel like I'm gonna see it any time soon either.

Score is randomly assigned to retain engagement.

Make it make sense snail, because i think you allocate score based purely on vibes and who the matchmaking wanted to win, I contributed the 3rd least, yet got twice the score of people who did everything.

Why is such a great game hindered so so so much by the company running it. I have never been so disappointed with a snail before. Do better!

So, can I not get the event tank anymore without paying?

So I didn't realize there was a 2 day time limit for each stage of the event (I started playing a few weeks back), I had assumed you just had the time period to complete all the score challenges, with them being broken up evenly for different rewards.

After playing a few games and getting confused about why the number wasn't going up I saw it expired yesterday. I then saw that I could pay to complete it, so is that it then, as a F2P player, I've simply failed to get the tank? Do they ever unlock the challenges again at the end, or should I just give up entirely on trying to do the challenge?

I was quite excited to play heaps and grind out the challenge when i can (because I'm trash, so 35k score times 7 is huge) and put the time in and get a pretty awesome tank... but now I just want too uninstall and find something else to do because I spent hours grinding 40k score, and it seems like its all just been an attempt to make me reach out to my wallet to pay the completion fee.

Has Warthunder always been like this? It feels like the game got its hooks into me, and is now rewarding me with punishment and constant reminders that i'm just worse off for not paying money on things like crew and having 2k premium currency to skip challenges and complete researches that just happen to always be 1 premium currency short of completing after my game.

My heart is breaking, I thought I was in love, but this event has made me feel used and abused more than anything before, the crew system frustrates me but i think its bones are pretty neat and interesting just wish it wasn't pay to win, the upgrades always being 1 short just makes me roll my eyes. But this event, this event got me so excited, it felt like all the financial goading would be worth it if they gave me gestures like this every few months, it was making sense why people have played it for so long, but then the 25th rolled around and it's turned to ash in my mouth.

Why? Do companies HAVE to make every cent they can possibly extract from anyone that happens to fall into their reach, I mean ffs, I'm just sad, this could've been so cool and so much fun, but instead another game can't help but be influence at every step and every interaction by the desires of men in suits.

I know there's a list, but it's not very readable and kinda makes my eyes hurt to look at, so does anyone already know? I'm guessing not, but it would be crazy if you can.

I can't remember if you could last time loot boxes were a thing, though the store may have just been loot boxes then.
