How’s case warranty my friend found a sodbuster jr 6.5 bonestag on the side of the road with both covers and the sheild missing think they will fix it

Hey y’all I was gifted this years ago it’s never been used it was in the original brown box with papers unfortunately the box got destroyed in a move but it protected the knife and sheath I wiped the discoloration on the blade with 91% rubbing alcohol but it still didn’t come off it makes me think it might be carbon steel the back springs are rusted it’s been in the sheath the whole time I’ve had it been removed probably 5 times to show then put back what’s y’all opinions
