I like CK3 sea transport system because if the game required transport ship levies the ai would be physically incapable of it.

While I do think there should be changes to allow for battles at sea between transporting navies, with bonuses for certain units and cultures, I still prefer this system to the pointless CK2 system that created tons of unnecessary micromanagement, or the EU5 system where the AI cannot bring enough of a naval invasion force to avoid being immediately slaughtered by the defending army. I do not want the CK2 system back. There is a reason Paradox made convoys abstract in HOI4 and super easy to procure via decision in Darkest Hour because PDX AI has never been good at troop transport.

Social Democrats proving they will support imperialism as long as they benefit from it

This Graham Platner thing makes me think Americans might actually be a lost cause. I know most American leftists are social democratic entryists who wrongly think the Democrats will allow any form of actual reform of their party, but can we not run defense for concentration camp guards and do blatant historical revisionism for an imperialist ghoul?

“You must believe people can change.” Say that about an SS guard, why don’t you?

While I don’t agree with Bad Empanada saying that racism doesn’t exist anymore in a real way, when describing FD Signifier running defense for a guy who only really wants more benefits so more people join the military, that’s bad.

Especially since these same socdems would never provide such a suspension of disbelief for actual leftists.

Also, there are certain things you can’t come back from, and being an imperialist who wanted to slaughter brown people is one of them. One of the most basic tenets of socialism is internationalism and anti-imperialism.

The fact that so many people are exposing themselves for a guy in a state election is wild. I genuinely don’t understand Hasan and Chapo being this willing to go to bat for this man.

If China wanted to have some fun they should create CAPAC

o recently, the mayor of Arcadia got arrested for espionage, and the “evidence” was that she didn’t support going to war with China. If China really wanted to, it could create its own version of CAPAC and try to politically capture parts of the U.S. government. Considering how easily influenced the average U.S. politician can be, they probably wouldn’t stop it if money were involved. China should do this

Professor decided to dock my grade for not being able to attend a final exam he held early outside of the school final exam window

My professor for a class that’s not tied to my major decided to hold the final exam for his class outside of the test window and decided to dock me for not being able to attend the test held early. My college professor made it so that a final that is 1/5 of my grade would be held early for a class that shouldn’t even be held this week, as his test date given by the school is next week, but also he decided to violate his own syllabus and punish people by taking 10% off for coming on the date and time given in his syllabus. I really don’t want to have my GPA messed up. Can professors do this, just change the date of their finals and make it outside the date given and just destroy people’s grades for not being available during the date he didn’t give?

edit: He was forced to not penalize people by the ditector

I’ve just realized this if the Supreme Court only has power because the executive and legislative respect it couldn’t you just ignore them and tell them with what army if you were president

like the whole argument of the Supreme Court or Congress wouldnt let you do that doesnt make sense when you realize that the president controls the military and as long as you have over 41 votes in the senate you could just ignore any congressional rejection. I mean yeah it would cause a constitunional crisis but it would allow you to do what ever you want.

Maryland is Southern. The Preakness Stakes is held here. We have a ton of horses and plenty of farms. The Black population is very high, about 35% of the state. We’ve got rednecks, and our state song up until 2020 was literally about Abraham Lincoln being a meanie for not letting us join the Confederacy. We had a ban on interracial marriage that had to be overturned by the United States Supreme Court. We are south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

We even have a county that’s spiritually West Virginia, up in the mountains. A lot of people only see Maryland as the suburbs of D.C., live in those suburbs, and never leave, then go around saying Maryland isn’t Southern. They’re the same kind of people who say Virginia isn’t Southern despite being the capital of the Confederacy, just because of Northern Virginia.

I’m from South Georgia and now live in Maryland. If I travel south from where I live, within a mile there is a corn farm and a horse breeder. Not to mention chicken farms up the wazoo on the road to the Eastern Shore. If you go to the Eastern Shore or Southern Maryland and turn off the main road, you will run smack dab into places with architecture identical to the South.

like I know I should focus on intelligence or strength cogintel but my first thing I do is find females with the Giant trait and marry them to my son. I just like the scene of them towering over their fellow bass and courtiers and the duel bonus comes in handy.
