Grinding from newly installed brakes?

2017 2.5i at 124k miles…. Just today replaced my front brake pads and rotors and lubricated the slide pins and am having this intermittent grinding noise when driving/braking on the right side. Pitch/frequency of the grinding changes with speed.

I made sure to push the caliper pistons all the way back on both sides before putting the pads on the rotors. Backing plates are not touching the rotors. Any idea what the culprit is?

Also excuse the firework noises 😅

My 2017 2.5i base model (124k miles) needs some maintenance and I can only afford to do one at a time. How should I prioritize?

I can’t crosspost from r/SubaruForester so here we are.

Maintenance items:
Spark plugs: Just need to be replaced. Will probably help with responsiveness/mpg

Front brakes + calipers + pins: Brakes are wearing unevenly and make a whooshing sound at low speed (tone fluctuates with speed)

Differential fluid: Not sure if Needed, but no service history in the CarFax

Front lower control arm: Bearings are wearing ou

Throwback to when I crashed my bike by some lava rocks. Near Lake of the Woods/Mt. McLoughlin, OR

After riding the BlackBerry bRamble in Eugene a few days prior, my partner, dad and I rode this route while staying with family. The whole ride was Super cool, zipping through the pine forests was addicting.

Had a great ride until I turned a little too sharp on some loose gravel. Bike flew out from under me (I think?? it was a blur), front wheel hit a rock and bent, and I got scraped up. My partner wheeled my bike upside down like a wheelbarrow and I walked his to the end of the route (campground) while my dad rode back to get the car. Cleaned up in the campground bathroom and got a peanut butter milkshake from the camp store.

Overall a 9/10 experience. -1 point for not being able to finish the ride (which I was more bummed about than my bike/me being injured).

Rediscovered my Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance SP this weekend (yay!). However, my Pokémon Ruby cartridge tells me the “internal battery has died” and time-based events are disabled.

Can anyone recommend repair shops nearby?
