For new muslims, mumin. On using the term "revert".

The author discusses this quite well imho, but as a Qur'an alone, God alone believer, I must mention that further down he uses hadiths to ALSO support his arguements, (which I find to be unneccessary).

I'm a native English speaker looking to grow my study of Qur'anic Arabic. I'm considering the book Arabic through the Qur'an by Alan Jones. Anybody have it, or tried to learn from it? Would you recommend it or not, and why?
