Custom paint on my 7 string

My lovely girlfriend painted this at my request, she loves art and I wanted her work to be apart of mine.

I’m really happy with my set up, last two pictures are it currently

The psone was the first console I ever played, and I can remember it vividly, I must’ve been about 4-5 playing FF7 on my uncles system way back when.

When I got a bit older and got my first real job I wanted to relive some of that nostalgia. I had no problem using emulation but I wanted that feeling of physical hardware again. So I got the fat PS1 when I was about 17.

It took some time getting everything together, I started with just the console, a shitty RCA to HDMI converter and a 40 inch flat screen TV.

Eventually switched it over to my PC monitor, still using the AV converter and now a five dollar speaker I had laying around for audio.

I moved out of my moms house and had no time or space for gaming or anything, I had everything I owned stuffed into a storage unit I was renting while I couch surfed until I eventually got my first apartment that I live in now.

It was totally liberating finally having a space of my own, and getting my hobbies back one by one with art and music, and eventually digging out my old PS1.

Due to how expensive game collecting can be, and how much space all the jewel cases take, I wanted a way to soft mod the console without physically altering it. And found out about TonyHax from people in this sub, so I set it up on an old GameShark cartridge I found, went full 1990s with IMGburn and blank CDs and a binder. This also lead me down the rabbit hole of different rom hacks and homebrews that could run on the OG hardware.

After some months I finally found a CRT in my area and got a nice table for it that I was happy with. I sadly don’t have any old pictures of when I first got this specific console. Only from when I first moved into my apartment, but I’ve still gotten plenty of upgrades since then.

Anyways enough ranting and happy gaming folks.

Just got a light gun today what are some other games I should get for it?

Right now I have RE Survivor, and Elemental Gearbolt.

Recommend anything you guys like, Japanese exclusives and North American releases are cool, price also isn’t an issue.

I just can’t run any PAL exclusives.
