As a pure hobbyist just wanting to initially design 2 or 3 things and then maybe something every few months. How good is the FDM print quality of the low resolution exports of the free version of Shapr3d? Does anyone have any pictures of low quality prints next to the high quality print?

Should I get the free version and learn to use it well and then get the $32.99 version a couple times a year and just design the few prints I want that month?

Our 30yo daughter suffers from depression and attempted S yesterday around noon using pills. We found out and I got her to the got her to the ER at a prominent hospital in time.

She later told the psychologist this was the second time. Then again a few hours later told her two other psych professionals and a social worker the same thing.

They would not release her to us even though we pleaded with them because of her not being able to work and then pay her rent, car payment and other bills. She also has animals to take care of. Her son is staying with his dad for the summer.

They took her to the mental ward late last night. She's not allowed to have incoming calls and has called us telling us she has no bed and is just sitting in a empty room on a chair. There is no TV and took her phone, not even magazines or books. She's board out of her mind. She said she thinks the food is lower grade than regular patient food and she couldn't eat it.

Clearly aside from being even more depressed because of how they are treating her she's mad and with attitude. I get it! I would be too! I am angry!

All she wanted was to be seen by a psychologist. Given meds and released to us. Now her situation is even more Depressing!

My understanding is they are trying to find a mental hospital to put her in either today or tomorrow...

She already said she should have never told us or allowed me to take her to the hospital. None of this is helping her situation at all. It's very likely she could loose her job, get evicted, loose her car. How is that helping her not be depressed?

What's typically the process for situations like this in Texas?

If she behaves herself and does what they say without attitude and push back, how long will she likely stay?

Is there any way we can talk to the hospital staff? We tried calling but they refuse to put us through to the mental ward nurses station.

About 8 years ago I momentum daytraded daily on my computer with CMEG using the Sterling Elite Pro platform. I had a $10k account. Traded $1 to $15 a share stocks using margin. Held my own for two years but ultimately lost everything due to not following the rules and making a few big mistakes. Fees were also killing me.

My wife doesn't want me to daytrade any more and we are already on a tight budget that she has a grip on. I can probably fund a $500 account without her knowing. The only way I can see us getting out of our rutt is for me to get back I to the swing of things by real time paper trading a few weeks and then mobile daytrade following the rules.

What mobile iPhone or iPad platforms are the fastest and with the least amount of fees for momentum trading with a $500 account. Never used it but is Think or Swim still the best?

If I can turn my $500 into $5000 in six months or less my wife will be more open to me trading again. Thanks...

I'd like to keep maybe 10000 of them on my computer and in iCloud and only maybe 500 on my phone. My phone is currently set up to "Optimize iPhone Storage" so most of those photos are only low resolution or thumbnails to be downloaded when needed.

What's the best way to search and delete pictures and videos aside from looking at each one and two step delete them. The thumbnails are mostly too small to let me decide if I want to delete or not.

Is it eadier to view and delete in iCloud?

I'd also only like to keep he same 10k on my icloud but only about 500 on my phone.

What are my options? Thanks.

I have a Bambu P1S with a 256^3 build volume. I need to print a bin with a interior dimension of at least 330mm long, about 48mm wide and about 150mm tall. Walls should be at about 4mm thick to help prevent flexing.

Is there a way to design a single finger joint into the bin that can be glued? Maybe there's other options for joining the two halves? Thanks

So quite often I see a FB post on my iPhone that I want to do a little more research on. Maybe I want to fact check or look for more information on something for a couple minutes. I'll go into Safari and a couple minutes later my Facebook page has refreshed and the post is gone! Is there any way to stop the automatic refresh? It's very annoying!

Total noob to CAD.

My PC is a 6 year old MSI gaming pc with a i7-6700 and GTX970M.

So I downloaded the free version of Fusion360 a couple years ago but only spent about an hour playing with it.

I'm now ready to dive in and using YouTube videos learn how to use it for 3d modeling for 3d PRINTERS.

First question, do I have to upgrade when I launch the program for the first time? If not, considering my PC specs should I upgrade to the latest release?

I'd like to stick with a older version if I can since the tool selection, tool location and work flow often changes with updates and the older YouTube videos can be quite confusing when your screen, tools and workflow looks and is different than the guy that's making the video. Thanks...
