

A cocnept for Mimic having its own route and ending (Mimic Ending)
Js something stupid i kinda wanted to make up for Frickbear's 3's upcoming update. You might tell me that Mimic is an Endless-mode animatronic only, and you might be right, i just wanted to make this for the hecks of it. Constructive criticsm and suggestions are welcome!
MIMIC ENDING -
To get to this route, the player must find a body part of the Mimic scattered in each salvage location, and the Data Diver presumably in the old Freddy Fazbear's. Maybe inside the office or W. Bonnie's closet. Either way, getting the Data diver lets you use it in your nights, having a cooldown when you start the night. It works like a tazer for an animatronic, click one and it will stun them for an hour. It's like a weaker deathcoin but infinitely reusable. There is a slow charge on the otem when used, ans it can only taze one animatronic at a time.
Up until William's woods will you find the last body part to build the Mimic itself and salvage it. Like the Evil route animatronics, it does not count towards your quota, and its risk of injury will be concerning. If done so, The Mimic will be added to Night 5. The Mimic will work exactly like it does in Endless mode, just find the costume it is in, ans it will probably not bother you until it tries again.
Once you are done with the night, a cutscene will play where your nightguard gets a call from the "boss" saying that they need to go to work tomorrow this time around, and it is regards to the data diver. (There will probably be a hint in his dialogue, something like "Hey. Chump, Its'-Me your Boss!." Liked bugged dialogue or smth like that. BUUT it'll also promise the nightguard with the same Steakhouse deal from the Money ending.) Once it ends, Night 6 starts.
Night 6 starts with a cutscene where generic cutscene stuff happens maybe its revealed your boss is the mimic or smth like that, and the bossfight starts.
Like Salvage, The Mimic will have its own healthbar, and time will NOT progress until you deal damage to The Mimic. Speaking of The Mimic, its' mechanic will change drastically, as no animatronics are present. They've been replaced with the Protomimics. (I know they were first versions of the Mimic, but Frickbear's 3 deals with lore pretty differently so let's assume the Protomimics are built by the Mimic itself and they used the animatronics you salvaged as parts.)
The Mimic AND Protomimics will copy a behavior from any animatronics you previously salvaged (Maybe including some boss mechanic like Salvage's office wires and N. Freddy's freddles.) You need to quickly learn what behavior they are adapting and deal with them the same way. But they can add their own spin like a protomimic trying to pry your mask off if it imitates W. Bonnie, or a protomimic asking for two candies if it imitates Dredbear. The only way to damage to the Mimic is through the Data diver, and it will take a bar of its health. If done so, the amount of protomimics will increase (at the cost of their ai level being halved to balance it out) and the Mimic will speed up until you manage to defeat it.
The Mimic is the one can ONLY kill you, though. The Protomimics can serve as a sabotager. If you ignore them, they will intentionally prevent you from using the tazer and disabling one of your mechanics. (Like doors, masks, etc.) for a set amount of time before you can use them again.
I didn't really come up with an ending for this one tho, maybe smth like your nightguard escaping the location only for the Mimic to catch and kill you while taking the data diver from you, idrk
And also if you try to pair this with any ending nothing will happen and you'll just have to deal with the mimic regularly (except for the good ending, obviously.)
