Who makes more? Honestly.

I’m curious to see who actually makes more? Like top earners. Red seal journeyman electrician or a 5th-1st class Power Engineer? Im just comparing and gathering data. Maybe looking into getting into either but pay is crucial for me. I’m from Calgary Alberta Canada.

Electrical trades and technology

Hi,
I have a fulltime job in the morning and was wondering if the 2 year electrical trade and technology have evening classes? Or its a flexible program where I can take how many credits I can take a semester to balance my work and study?
Thanks.

Classic races mod (orcs dont reproduce)

Hi, with new update that adds families and breeding, dont the orcs breed too? I played I think last week and have the classic races mod installed that makes cretonians into orcs I believe and I dont see them propagating or see the propagation option in the population tab. Has anyone experienced the same thing? *currently at work so haven’t tried again this week

If you were 31 yrs old again, what would you choose this time?

Mannn I need help, I am confused. I come from an IT background in the Philippines, now I am here in Calgary Canada with an opportunity to study again (after the wife is finished with hers, right now I am working as a cleaner) and I am confused, anxious as to what to take in the trades, I plan to study next year. Do I study electrical trades and technology to be an electrician? Or do I take transportation and heavy equipment to be a heavy duty mech? It’s just both of those trades that I am really interested in.
-What is making me anxious is that when I become an electrician, I won’t get as excited and challenged and there’s a stigma that it’s a gay trade and I don’t know why. On the other hand, being a THET mechanic, I see jobs mostly posted up north which I am not open to relocation. That being said, I am physically fit, technically able and just overthinking this too much as I don’t want to regret it in the long run. Please be kind to me as I am very serious and keen to this, it’s a life changing decision for me and I don’t want to mess up. I have no experience or education/background on both. Godspeed.

Edit: plus people here tell that electrician is overly saturated with people right now, so what chance do I have once I graduate at SAIT?

Edit #2: No I don’t have rich parents, that is why I am working right now to save up, and letting the wife study first, once she is done, it will be my turn. I’ve had enough with IT also. Thank you.

Edit #3: Thank you guys this gave me much more clarity. I finally made it sure to be a sparky. ⚡️⚡️***⚡️ hopefully all will be well for me and my family. Godspeed***!!!

Hi, the name is phil and I am a resident here in yyc, originally from the Philippines, wife and daughter are here. I am very interested in the heavy duty mechanics trade but hesitant cause I don’t want to be away from the family all the time, saw that the work-life balance sucks if you are a diesel mechanic… fifo, camps, on the road all the time, with that being said, I do have an IT background in the Philippines and am also interested in being an electrician, being able to make as much as a jman elec as a HD mech and being at home everyday is a win-win for me. Whatchu guys think?

Hey yyc, can you recommend parking spaces to park and sleep? I have a half ton truck and me, just need a place to rest before work… I am basically homeless cause of my relationship with my wife. I slept last night at Dfoot city but saw security guards roving and if I do another night they might notice me. Was thinking of Grey eagle? Or maybe Gold’s gym parking area? Even the walmart at westbrook? This one lady recommended indigo at bankers hall 9th ave, it was $3 from 6pm-6am but she wasn’t sure if I can stay at my truck to sleep. Any recommendations would be helpful, either paid or free. Thank you.
