Throwback to when Momo could casually delete your entire HP+GP in less than two seconds

I saw someone claim her Gamma didn't deserve the nerfs a few days ago, and was reminded of this Imao. Can't find the original clip for the life of me, so enjoy the cheesy editing

My personal take on how the community views characters

Notes:

Tiers aren't ordered, E.G, I don't necessarily think Assault Ochaco is more overrated than Strike AFO

This list is based on the community as a whole (Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit and Discord), not just Reddit

Feel free to ask me why I think certain characters are where they are

Which fanmade music video is your favourite?

Image used for the post is the thumbnail to "Gorillaz - Stop The Dams (Fan Music Video)" by @artemon_az

As you can imagine from the above text, that is my personal favourite

We now have User Flairs!

After a vote, Quirks were decided as our sub's flairs. The inspiration for their layout was Present Mic's character introductions in the show. There should be a flair for any Quirk you want, but if I happen to have missed any, I've added a custom flair at the very bottom (or if you just want a flair unrelated to Quirks).

This might be the worst thing I've ever seen

Black Thought's performance is literally the highlight of the song. I know people do this for other songs, but it feels insane to do it here

If this sub were to have user flairs, which would you prefer?

Characters came to mind as my first thought, but I personally feel quirk-based flairs could be an interesting distinction from other subs

With Area Control returning, I really want to explain the ideal positioning of a team (please stop neglecting the Pointer role)

There are two ways to win Area Control. The first is by capturing all three points for a total of one minute. The second is by having the most points, along with holding two or more points under your control as the timer runs out. Unless the skill gap between teams is immense, you should almost always be aiming to win by the second condition.

The best way to gain the most points is by holding Point B with the Pointer role. I cannot emphasize enough how overpowered Point B and the Pointer role are. It gives you SO many points, especially with more than one Pointer on it.

Points A and C are also important, but you should NOT be focusing on them for the entire game. They do not give you a worthwhile amount of points, and contesting them the whole time is a waste of time and resources (you, being the resource). You only **need** them captured for the end of the game, around once the timer reaches the one minute mark.

So, I feel like it's fairly obvious why four out of six team members should be on the Pointer role, focusing on Point B. That leaves the final two members as Capturers. For this, you have two options: defensive Capturers and offensive Capturers.

Having two Capturers on the closest point to your base almost guarantees that you will keep control of that base. The majority of the time, enemies will attempt to attack it solo since it is the farthest base away from them. A 2v1 is usually an easy win.

Then we have offensive Capturers. Having one Capturer at the enemy's base isn't necessarily about capturing their point, but rather distracting the enemy team. If you are able to keep them busy, you are helping your teammates immensely.

Obviously these aren't going to be perfect strategies, and you will need to mix it up sometimes, E.G, switching to a Capturerer to assist your teammates on Point A. This is what an ideal game of Area Control should look like though.

(Please stop neglecting the Pointer role)

An explanation and history lesson on the "tallyposting (fake)" flair, because it seems a lot of people don't understand what it is/means

The word "tallyposting" is derived from two words: "Tally" (as in Tally Hall) and "silkposting."

Silkposting originally comes from r/Silksong, which is dedicated to Hollow Knight: Silksong. The game was announced back in 2019, but the developers went silent for years. To cope with the absolute lack of updates, the starved community entered a state of ironic, collective delusion. They uploaded fake screenshots, fake boss strategies, and fake patch notes, etc, gaslighting themselves into believing the game was already out.

This specific brand of manufacturing fake news to cope with content starvation became known as silkposting. It quickly spread to other gaming communities waiting on nonexistent projects, like Titanfall fans making tier lists for Titanfall 3.

That brings us to our community. A few months ago (around six, I believe), someone created a "fake third album," known as "Opaque," and memed it as if it were real. People caught on and started creating more posts acting like the album actually existed, creating our sub's version of silkposting.

To try and help people understand what was real and what wasn't, the "tallyposting (fake)" flair was created.

I assume that people just thought "tallyposting" meant "oh, it's for posts about Tally Hall," which is why I see so many posts on here use that flair.

(I also want to add that this wasn't actually the first time we've made a nonexistent album. I think (?) it's happened twice before "Opaque" existed. Don't quote me on that though lmao. Just a fun fact)

I have recently discovered that I've spent more than 100 days playing this game (since starting in S8)

100 days later, I have come to the conclusion that this game is hot garbage. And I do not recommend this game to new players, at all. I will still continue to play it though

I hope these stats can make someone feel better about their playtime, at the very least lmaO

Do you think team heals should return to their original state?

For anyone who isn't aware, team heals in the past didn't fully restore your team's HP/GP. Instead, they'd dish out a fixed amount of HP/GP throughout the team (correct me if I'm wrong).

With the existence of Twisted Fortune, and how ridiculous support is in its current state, I've been reminded of how these used to work. Do you think it'd be a good idea to revert them to their former state?

AAM's playerbase being so low is baffling to me

I've been messing around with him in training recently, and man, he seems fun. He has so many combos, a lot of which guardbreaking without tuning, he has insane mobility (his Beta has around the same range as Froppy's Alpha), stuns, freezes, DoT, the best flight in the game, and an auto-tracking ability. Yet, absolutely no one plays this guy. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the least-played character in the game right now, because it honestly feels that way based on my experiences. Oh yeah, and don't forget that he has 350 HP for whatever reason 💀

This episode was truly the peak of this series

There's obviously many episodes I like, however I don't think any will ever beat this one. One of the few episodes to actually give me genuine chills. I can't name a single fault with it. Builds hype for Armoured All Might, while also managing to conclude the most interesting storyline the show has. Iida's Maximum Speed scene managed to cement my opinion of "My Hero Academia" being superior to "You Say Run." The small Death Arms scene was also a very welcome addition

JP Twitter can be an extremely helpful place

I really don't want to sound like a Japan glazer, but JP Twitter is a decent place for game tips/tech. While a lot of the tips can be quite niche, they're still helpful nonetheless. I would consider myself a decently experienced player, and I still feel like I learn a bunch from their posts. For example, I originally discovered YAFO's wallrunner tech there. I'd never seen anyone mention it before, before sharing it here myself.

My point is that you can find a lot of useful stuff on JP Twitter that often doesn't make its way to other regions
