Insole recommendation for serious foot pain at the front and back of my feet.

Hey guys. I recently got new boots and have always struggled with foot pain. I love my new boots and I would like to go above and beyond by getting myself some new insoles as well to go with my new boots. ( steel blue southern cross zip are the boots I got, I like them so far) anyways I want to try buying some orthodontic foot support insoles that will help with pain I always feel in my forefoot area and behind my arch, I feel pain really all over but mostly my forefoot and the rear of my foot directly in front of and behind the arch area on my feet. Do you guys have any recommendations? I see all kinds of brands claiming to be great. Usually around 40 bucks or so. I even some custom brands that send you a foot mold on the mail, you send it back, and they create you a custom fit insole but the cost is a few hundred bucks. Can you guys help me out? Anyone else have similar pain and can recommend insoles? What kind of pain would you call it when you feel pain in your bottom forefoot area as well and the heel area on the bottom? Thanks so much.

Neon noob. Is this neon or LED?

Here it is. I'm asking about the sign in the middle. The 2 on the outside are very obviously LED to my knowledge but I can't tell about the one in the middle.

Nubuck and suede conditioner.

Any recommendations on conditioner for nubuck and suede boots? My steel blue southern cross boots have nubuck and suede leather. What should I use to condition it? I notice some cleaners and conditioners mention not air use with suede and nubuck. I don't care much for waterproofing as I work inside.

Steel blue southern cross zip boots.

I just got these boots through my benefit at work. They are awesome. A little tight at the top of my foot but I am reading online that this is normal until the boot breaks in. How true is this? Will they stretch a bit? Or do I need to return them for half a size up? Thanks guys.

Ultrasonic bat detector

Edit- it works amazing! I already got to hear two bats hunt while they fly by me! Wow what a treat.

I made an ultrasonic BAT DETECTOR!!! This thing is pretty sick. It converts ultrasound into audible sound for humans! It can be used to study bats as well as other animals that emit ultrasound. It uses the heterodyne conversion principle; meaning that it takes the original ultrasound and shifts the frequencies to create a representative artifact of the original sound that humans can hear, it's so precise that you can identify different species of bats by the different sounds and patterns you hear. I'm stoked to listen to some bats later on. It can also be used to for electrical inspection for detecting corona discharge and arcing, leak detection in pressurized systems like an exhaust leak in an exhaust system, detect early signs of bearing failure in machinery due to lack of lubrication or other effects causing wear. This thing is an absolute unit. I can't believe I soldered it together and built it. Very nice! 🦇hardest part was the heterodyne ultrasound sensors on n the front end. Also, the soldering pads on this unit were so close together I bet the manufacturer couldn't get them any closer. Haha 🤣 fun and awesome kit. Testing it later tonight!

I used SRA "FLUX #135" "rosin paste flux" from www.sra-solder.com Thanks guys. I'll attach a photo of my high voltage power supply I soldered up last night. I am still pretty new so the few projects I've done all have flux all over them still, asking because I don't want my projects to get ruined or damaged down the line from the flux causing issues. Thank you for the help.

Update: I got it fixed thanks to you guys.

I am restoring an old van de Graaff generator and it has some wobble at the top of the machine. Google tells me I can use super alloy 1 rods and my soldering iron to join aluminum and brass together. I'll attach a video below showing what needs fixing. It's a van de Graaff generator and the very top of the machine wobbles a bit where the brass rods are connected to the aluminum plate. How would you go about fixing this? I'd like to weld it / braze it but I'm not sure and not experienced with joining brass and aluminum together. What would you do? Thank you.

Just an update on my first ever scope I acquired a little while back and posted about. Since then I've cleaned it up and lubed up the gear mechanisms and everything is working properly and smoothly, It came with a vintage microscope slide of "carbozotate of potash" chemical crystals. I used to as a test slide and the scope is working amazingly. Thanks for the help everyone.

Be creating a voltage multiplier lightning tower. I have two types of prototyping boards. One board has copper on one side and the other board is bare. I need to use the board with no metal on it due to the high voltage correct? I figure the high voltage will just arc all over the board that has copper. I'll include pictures of my boards. Thank you all.

Today's haul, Another high voltage multiplier board, new custom made 25kv AC flyback transformer (44 turn primary 2400 turn secondary), spare primary bobbin for custome windings, high voltage junction box, a very nice Jacob's ladder demo kit, and some high voltage leads with alligator clips. Heck yeah.

A voltage multiplier from a spellman Xray machine power supply. And an unknown AC flyback transformer. I wonder how this high voltage multiplier was powered? 2 separate board mounted transformers? A larger transformer below the board somewhere in a tank? Notice the odd high voltage wire with very thick insulation wound in a couple turn coil near the cathode output. I wonder what that along with the tiny coils were for? The tiny coils and wire attaches on each side at the bottom of the board that has the 6 pads. The wires were soldered there and broke off when I opened the packaging. I have no idea what the yellow rectangular and thin components are either. Anyways It's pretty cool learning how all this works. One day I'll give her some power and fire it up.

I have some zvs drivers that have 3 terminal output. That way I can run flyback transformers on it with the center tapped wire going on the middle terminal. I see a lot of zvs driver that don't have the 3 terminal output. Instead they are setup with 2 terminal output meant for installing a copper pipe coil for induction heating. My question is how can I use one of these zvs drivers that only have 2 terminal outputs to drive flyback transformers or other transformers? Is it possible? Please help me understand. From what I know I thought we needed the center tapped wire to help the transformer and the zvs driver to resonate or help the zvs switch at the appropriate frequency. I'm a noob still learning as much as I can. Thank you gentlemen. 🫡 I'll attach some pictures of the two terminal output zvs drivers as a reference. Some have regular 2 post thermals and others have terminals meant for actual copper pipe. Thank you!!!!!!!
