What is it that makes azir such a staple pro pick despite being considered bad in solo q? and why is he bad in solo q? Is it a mechanical thing or is it the pro environment? I’ve seen plenty of Azirs in solo q that felt oppressive to play against but I have no experience playing him so its hard for me to grasp what’s going on here
I am a diamond jungler who wants to get better at toplane. I play Gwen and Jax. feels like nothing I do in toplane matters. I can stomp or get stomped and the game will continue regardless. but more than that, I don’t even know what I *should* be doing or when I should be roaming. are there any specific videos you can recommend to get me to diamond from emerald?
in your opinions, what are Gwen’s best matchups?
Everyone knows mundo is supposed to be countered by Gwen, but honestly it always turns into a farm lane, especially if mundo takes ghost to run away. I’m talking about lanes where Gwen has kill pressure 24/7
For me, gangplank has always felt like an easy lane. Gwen’s W AND her long range auto reset on e makes it so hard for GP to ever hit you with a barrel, and his ult can of course also be ignored inside of W. Since he has no escape tools, it’s incredibly easy to chase him down and kill him. thoughts?

After trying all the different builds that I see recommended I have settled on one that IMO takes all the best parts from them and works *for me* very well in the top lane. However, would like to hear why it isn’t good, because I believe that will be the consensus from high elo Gwens
the build is this: Riftmaker into Lich Bane into Shadowflame into rabadons with situational boots and zhonyas or banshees as needed at some point.
dusk and dawn was not providing enough healing OR dmg in my games yet lich first left me too squishy to lane against bruisers. Rift first allows me to lane much easier and thus survive until I get real dmg. Lich of course is good for this purpose and the hp from rift covers its weaknesses. then shadow flame because the passive effect is so good for farming and fighting and rabadons next for obvious reasons.
is it really so troll of me to use this build? I’m having much more success than any other build I’ve tried. I really think the riftmaker first is helping me lane much more than any other item but I always hear the Gwen OTPs say how bad the item is because it doesn’t scale. But doesn’t the rest of my build make up for this if the rift is helping me early?
they removed the ”my leagues” feature so where can I see it now? I cannot seem to find it and would appreciate it if someone can tell me where to see it
are there any videos or written guides on this matchup? I know it is supposed to be favorable for Gwen but I can’t get it to work. I am D4 Gwen player. Will keep looking on my own but any tips or links are greatly appreciated. I was trading well with illaoi but she would just push under my turret with 10% hp and heal just enough to keep herself out of kill pressure while my lack of sustain meant I had to b and miss tons of cs until she could just solo me
I have heard so much about these changes and a lot of it is contradictory.
right now, I build kraken into DnD and then hexplate and Deaths Dance. I am strong as fuck at two, three, and four items.
so my question is, how will these changes affect the kraken build? is it dead?
