Booked Tomorrow Hotel in Taipei Because of the Great Reviews. Regretted It.

Just a heads-up for anyone planning to travel to Taiwan and considering booking Tomorrow Hotel. I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I booked this hotel because it had so many positive reviews online, and my fiancée and I thought it would be a safe choice.

We arrived at around 9 PM after a long day of traveling. At reception, the staff told us that the room we had booked was their smallest room. They took us upstairs, and it was incredibly small. There was barely enough room for the bed, with almost no space for our luggage.

I checked my booking and the room photos again because it didn't look like the room I had reserved. After I questioned it, the staff showed us a larger room that actually had enough space for luggage.

Back at the reception, they told us we could upgrade to that room for an additional 5,000 NTD.

I declined.

A few moments later, the price became 3,000 NTD.

I declined again.

Then it became 1,500 NTD.

Finally, they offered it for 1,000 NTD.

By that point, it was already late, we were exhausted, and neither of us wanted to deal with finding another hotel while carrying our luggage. I reluctantly paid the extra 1,000 NTD. What I couldn't understand was how the upgrade price could drop from 5,000 to 1,000 NTD within just a few minutes. The whole situation felt very misleading and, honestly, it felt like a scam.

Another thing worth mentioning is the reviews. They have a Google review QR code right at the reception desk, and they actively ask guests to leave a review in exchange for vouchers for free coffee, drinks, or snacks. They even take a photo after you've submitted your review. That made me question how many of the positive reviews were written because of the incentive rather than the actual experience.

The room itself was also disappointing. The bed was extremely hard, and you could actually feel the springs through the mattress. It honestly felt like sleeping on the floor with a thin layer of padding.

The walls are also very thin. You can clearly hear conversations in the hallway as well as noise from neighboring rooms, so don't expect a quiet night's sleep.

Overall, this was a very disappointing stay.

TL;DR: I regret booking Tomorrow Hotel in Taiwan. I would never stay there again, and I can't recommend it to anyone.

Tomorrow Hotel - Taiwan ❌

Dinala niya kami doon, at sobrang liit talaga.

After that, pinakita niya sa amin yung mas malaking room na may enough space for luggage.

Pagbalik namin sa reception, she mentioned na puwede kaming mag-upgrade to that larger room for an additional 5,000 NTD. Sabi ko hindi namin kaya.

After that, naging 3,000 NTD.

Tumanggi ulit ako.

Naging 1,500 NTD.

Hanggang sa naging 1,000 NTD.

By that point, we did not want the inconvenience of finding another hotel and talagang pagod nadin kami so we reluctantly paid the extra 1,000NTD. The fact na ung price kept dropping made the entire situation feel very misleading and left a terrible first impression. Honestly, it felt like a scam.

Another thing worth mentioning is the reviews. May Google QR code sila mismo sa reception, at hihingan ka nila ng review kapalit ng vouchers for free coffee, drinks, or snacks. Pipicturan pa nila after mong mag-submit ng review. I just realized why madaming positive reviews online.

Nung nasa room na kami to sleep, ung bed is napakatigas.

**TL;DR:** I regret booking Tomorrow Hotel in Taiwan. I would never stay there again and I can't recommend it to anyone.

You’re starting a franchise. Who’s your #1 pick?

You’re starting a franchise and must build around one player. You don’t know the rest of the roster yet.

Every player in the pic is available and joins your team in their absolute prime.

Who are you taking with the #1 pick?

You get these teams in their absolute prime versions, plus the best player they beat in that Finals series also in their prime. Which one are you taking?

1996 Chicago Bulls + Gary Payton

2001 Los Angeles Lakers + Allen Iverson

2013 Miami Heat + Tim Duncan

2017 Golden State Warriors + LeBron James

Hope These Spurs Don't Become the Next 2012 Thunder.

First off, congrats to the Knicks. Well-deserved championship.

As for the Spurs, they're young, exciting, and have Wemby, so it's easy to look at them and think they'll be in the mix every year and get plenty more shots at a title. That's probably the logical expectation.

But that's also what everyone thought about the 2012 Thunder. KD, Russ, and Harden made the Finals at a young age, and most people assumed it was just the beginning. It ended up being the only Finals appearance for that core.

Not saying the same thing will happen to San Antonio. Just a reminder that nothing is guaranteed in this league, no matter how bright the future looks.

NY vs SAS in the 2026 Finals just like 1999... so that means the Lakers win the next 3, right? 😂🤞
