God, I love Dune: Awakening so much

The Dune video game is so damn fun

I have more burning questions about the grandfather sandworms!

So about the two hour server cool down, is that for a global sandworm pop up so like after one grandfather worm pops up another grandfather worm can't pop up anywhere on the map for another two hours or is it that one grandfather can't pop up in the same crater for two hours but a different one can pop up in a different crater anytime between 2 hours? Also, are the grandfather sandworm as common in PVE instances as they are in PVP?

I have a burning question about the grandfather worms

So from what I know, the grandfather worms are kind of like a quick time event, they will pop their heads up in spice fields, swallow the spice, and burrow back under, but one thing that confused me is, I saw this photo which is the cover art for the game and I was wondering, can they actually do this and skim across the sand to get you? If not, do you think funcom might add this in a future update?
