Surprise NEW Arko!

Surprise NEW Arko!

I’m going away for college tomorrow and I received my package yesterday for my dorm necessities and by complete surprise, Arko! I shaved with this new Arko last night and honestly it didn’t feel that much different than using the stick. Still the same great shave! I finished the shave off with Witch Hazel, Old Spice aftershave, and then some Nivea sensitive cooling aftershave balm.

Hit the CVS today!

Looking forward to trying this stuff out! I already know and love Clubman but I always wanna have that in my collection so might as well restock!

Aimee singing “One” at the Riviera Theatre, Chicago, Illinois, July 23rd, 2026

I’m particularly proud of this clip I took because it ended up on her Instagram story!

SOTD: my first ever shavette shave with zero cuts! Never been this BBS before; only didn’t go ATG on my mustache area as I’m not confident enough for that yet. Wonderful shave!

Prep: Hot shower + Proraso White Pre-Shave cream, soaked brush in distilled water during shower

Cream: Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood, lathered in a regular bowl I stole from the kitchen

Razor: some generic Amazon shavette w/ Nacet blade split in half

Post-Shave: Rose Witch Hazel + Proraso White Aftershave Balm

Memories of the 7/23 Chicago show: my second time seeing her as an 18 year old fan. Monumental!

Not pictured here, but I also met Michael Lockwood and John Sands, cool guys. I gave Aimee my drawings I made of her and she was really sweet, loved them, and told me she remembered me from New Orleans earlier this year. She’s my all time favorite artist and this was one of the greatest moments of my life. Cheers!

How are we all feeling about the tour starting tomorrow?

As the title states. Bachelor No. 2 is one of my absolute favorites of Aimee’s and if her Lost In Space tour earlier this year is any indication, we’re in for a real treat! I’m a super young fan of hers (18M) and am trying to enjoy as many of her shows as humanly possible, as she is the last living artist I love who still tours. Overall, I feel reasonably good about this show and a good time is in order.

Have a Zoom private coaching session with Andrew Magarian on Monday, what are good questions to ask?

I had a session once before with him last year and haven’t kept in touch. So I’m hoping it’s not awkward because I always get that anxiety when reconnecting with someone after a while.

Last time we did a session together, I didn’t really know a thing about acting, so my questions were not very good and I was honestly probably wasting his time. I suppose it is worth mentioning, I do have mild autism, so that does affect me a little bit socially.

Since then, I have read a few good books on acting, and I have done a few plays of different genres. I would not say I’m anywhere near professional quality, but I really do wanna learn from him because I hear he’s one of the best. Ideally, I should probably go over to his studio in LA and learn there too in person, but I’m currently in Florida for now and won’t be able to go to LA for a little while longer.

If anyone has good experience with him or any other professional acting coaches, any advice is more than appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Sorry if this is a little bit wonky, I dictated this.

I (18M) deliberately OD’d on my medication

Last week I was overwhelmed emotionally and without thinking I took five times the dosage of my medication (Wellbutrin/Bupropion, SR 200 mg every morning), I took five of these pills with coffee. I don’t fully understand what came over me or why I did what I did but I didn’t feel the symptoms til a few hours later.

My legs felt like jelly, my hands and feet were shaking, and I felt really nauseous. I was afraid to fall asleep. I got no sleep that night, and on top of that I was in a room with no air conditioning so it was burning hot.

There’s been this sad feeling inside of me that I haven’t been able to shake since as far back as December 2025. Some days it’s easier to take, but I guess it got the best of me that day. I survived but I’m not sure where to go from here. I’ve only told a couple of my friends about this. I know I can’t go on like this.
