Use Case: Gaming AAA Titles Gta 5 Gow Minecraft Forza far cry assassin creed fifa are a non negotiable
Maybe Rdr 2 and black myth more demanding games but I am open to playing on low to medium settings if it gives playable enough fps
Preferred Specs: (Optional: GPU, CPU, RAM, storage)
Notes: I have shortlisted 2 options
1 with DDR4 16Gb ram with 6 gb rtx 3050 or
DDR 5 16 gb ram with 4 gb rtx 3050
I’ll use laptop mainly for gaming might get into coding or video editing but don’t consider that even if I do won’t be that intense
I had an old laptop and am normally a playstation gamer but I am also scared that these are future proof as well and can play AAA games released in future maybe 5-6 yrs
If I go for both they go out of budget
Please help me decide

New member here have some games on steam but don’t have the ability to buy more
Don’t know the basics of fitgirl at all just know it’s awesome
I have an old i3 7 gen (7y/o now) with 8gb ram and I want to run those oldies (san Andreas tekken pes street fighter or basic old story games) all these I used to run on my pentium pc now retired (15 y/o)
Can someone walk me through the basics and how to start what to do (I have no idea of even basics)
and any oldies you suggest based on my taste (laptop can run Sid Meiers civ 6 and gta 5 barely on 10 fps)
