How do I get my step daughter (15f) to eat?

hey y‘all - I struggled with disordered eating as a teen and am seeing similar patterns in my stepdaughter. She currently does not eat breakfast or lunch, and only picks at her dinner. She‘s a pescatarian that doesn’t like to eat fish frequently (she claims she eats fish too often and is at risk for mercury poisoning) and does not like meat substitutes or imitation meat. This leaves mostly fruit, veggies, and carbs. she will come home from school, not having eaten since the night before at least, eat a bag of chips, takis, or other snack foods, and then just eat bites of the sides at dinner. I’ve asked her multiple times what I can make that she’ll eat and when I do make those things (which all happen to be things her siblings will not eat - a very short list) she only takes a few bites and says she ate earlier (which I know is not true because she doesn’t use her lunch card at school).

at least at our house I know she’s eating something but her mom doesn’t cook or have a sit down meal time/has a fend-for-yourself vibe at her house so I’m not sure she eats anything at all over there.

her dad and I are getting very concerned. I have tried packing her lunches, having grab and go snacks in the fridge for her to take, etc but no luck. I’ve had casual convos with her about food being fuel for the body and how we need to take care of ourselves to make our bodies healthy and work the best they can but don’t wanna make her feel uncomfortable or start hiding things from us.

any suggestion??

Overly sensitive

hey yall,

does anyone have any advice for an overly sensitive clitoris? stimulation feels good but then after a few seconds becomes too intense and i need it to stop before there is any kind of climax.

What are you wedding planning tips and tricks?

almost everyone I talk to has things they would and wouldn’t do over again when planning their wedding? what’s yours?

dont say elope lol I suggested that but my fiance (43m) has been married before and still said getting married in a courthouse or something similar wouldn’t feel special enough :,)

WIBTA for asking for a night in a hotel?

I had a baby 5 weeks ago. Since I’ve been on maternity leave (my partner owns his business, so he didn’t get more than a few days off), I’ve been doing 80-90% of the child rearing. I also have 3 stepkids my partner has 50/50 custody of that are all now on summer break.

It’s my first day back at work today (I’m working from home for the next month or so), and I’m thinking about the next couple of weeks and how they’ll go. This weekend, my partner promised his oldest daughter that he’d take her and her friends camping 3 hours away for the weekend, leaving me alone with the baby Friday-Sunday. 2 weeks from now, he is going to a music festival he attends every year from Thursday-Sunday, leaving me alone with the baby again. I had been planning on the music festival since we found out we were having the baby but the camping trip was only planned ~2 weeks ago.

Prior to having the baby, everything has been pretty equal and we make a great team. We aren’t usually a tit for tat kind of family, aka we don’t track who does what chore when etc. but after he’s going to be putting a lot of work on my plate and I don’t foresee an event where the tables will be turned, I want to ask for a night at a hotel to get a full nights sleep after he gets back from the music festival. Is that shitty? Is there another way I can tip the scales back my way? Would I be the asshole?

Nashville wedding planning

Hey y’all!

My fiance and I are having our wedding at the clementine and need to rent essentially everything we’ll need for the day. They let us rent from quest, curated events, and southern events. Does anyone know which is the most cost effective? I was going to try to think of everything we need and get quotes from all three but wanted to check here first in case anyone had any insight!

Thanks!

30f 2nd degree tear

Hey yall! I had a baby about 4 weeks ago and got a 2nd degree tear during delivery. Sitting on couches, chairs, benches, etc is not painful but, when I’m using the restroom, sitting on the toilet is almost unbearable. Is this normal? When can I expect to no longer feel pain?
