Just like the title says. I was at work. Saw an email from Preply that email was changed. And in quick successions came two PayPal transactions alerts. Now, I can not log into my account- since the email was changed. PayPal so far said they will not do anything. I am now dealing with combination of Preply AI bs and their sporadic support.
Overall, really well done meal except the broccoli that should not be served to a dead person. Beef and salads are really well done. On mains, the slow roasted lamb was very tasty. United did a good job on this one.
Wrapping up a very short vacation in Florence this week, I am reiterating, if you can, avoid Italy in peak summer. Except for restaurants and rooms, there are not many options for a pleasant vacation. I was more interested in wiping down the flow of sweat over looking at an artwork in a church. Seriously, I do not understand the aura of going to (most of)Italy in summer when the winter months are far more enjoyable.
Heading to Florence and my plane lands at 11.00, if it is on time. My connection out of the airport is at 4 PM. What do I do in that 4 hours? I do have a largish suitcase and a carryon. This is not my first time in Florence, most of the obvious tourist things are done. What do you have in your suggestions list, considering it will be balmy 35C during those hours?
As summer rolls in, MPG on Plat.Max is improving to almost factory spec. But this is still a bit shocking.
I am a pretty happy new customer for a vintage Acuruas A80 poweramp. I noticed recently that the pilot lamp blinks as I turn it on and the blinking stays on even if I play songs for 20 minutes. It is not a warm up issue. Music source is the pre-out from another vintage receiver, JVC RX-950V. I do not hear any degrading audio quality from the A80 so far, but the blinking is getting me worried. Any pointer to troubleshoot the upcoming trouble or is it normal?
For starter, I hooked up the amp to a KillAWatt type watt meter and the reading fluctuates between 6 to 60W depending on bass response needed for the soundtrack. So, it seems okay. On the other hand, the speakers have lower volume as compared to direct connection to the receiver.
It is unfortunate that I am not getting any occupants in my birdhouse even since it was erected on a oak in the south west corner of my backyard. I used my kid's taekwondo breaking boards to build it. Painted it white. The entry hole is set at 1 inch. What am I doing wrong or is the color is offensive?
