Is it ethical to adopt isopods from my backyard?

Title. We have a few colonies right now including dairy cows and powder blues & oranges. I wouldn't be introducing the wild-caught to my already established domestically bred pods, just wondering if it's OK to do or if I should leave them alone. I don't want to potentially harm the environment or ecosystem.
