"Alright you simian a**holes! In the words of my generation, UP YOURS!"

(Don't worry, he'll be back in two missions)

Based on Independence Day, of course, since the entire concept of Katina is basically an omage to the film, as well as this classic video from the old side of YouTube: https://youtu.be/yaSwMYUHfu0?is=0mBr8nZ6vc9Q7WmG

Character Voice Discussion (64 Remake 2026)

How do y'all feel about the voices in the remake? Not the quality of the acting, but how the voices match the characters in this version. For example:

Pigma. Pigma's style of voice is literally perfectly slimy, just like the character in my opinion. It almost gives me SF: Assault vibes, but BETTER.

Leon has a pretty fitting voice for the character. Sly, threatening. Pretty good, but not perfect.

Slippy definitely sounds neurodivergent, not just with his lines, while also not being annoying.

Bill? Nah. Give him back his surfer dude voice. I know his VA passed away, but he needs his sick and slick dude dialect.

Also, I'm partial to Sector Y Boss. I kinda like his more formal style, but I really miss COCKY LITTLE FREAKS! I mean... they got Zoness boss right.

I absolutely love the new Slippy

He seriously gives off AuDHD vibes, especially if you've seen all the route cutscenes.

His hyperfixations on tech, while constantly getting distracted reminds me of my first-hand experience having AuDHD. I get it and this iteration of the character brings a smile to my face.

[Star Fox EX] "Press FIRE to experience Australia"

Huh... yeah, it sure is.

Slippy has ADHD? Or just easily distracted [64 Remake]

Full Fichina bad end scene. (Edited slightly with fade out, ect.)

As someone with AuDHD, I think I relate to Slip more than I ever have here.

Also, don't leave ROB hangin', dude!

I understand...

I remember now... I remember why people were freaking out about Wolf's voice in Starlink, and oh boy do I get it.

Edit: There are a couple misinterpretations of what I meant here. The voice is amazing in my opinion (and sexy)

Quick doodle: Spicy Crab Meal

Foxxo enjoying some steamed crab legs and dipping them in "Papa Peppy's spicy chili sauce" (and a little pun on aquas/aquavista)

When I found out that the homemeade chili sauce (and the Solar brand sauce) was next to the cold ones in the 64 remake, it made me realize that there was a lot of love put into the game.

I wonder what kind of substitutions Corneria would have to put in for the citizens' diet, and what animals made it to humanlike sentience besides what we see.

Of all the cakes Aperture offered, what is your favorite, or what would you like to try?

My personal favorite here is Tres Leches Cake, and I'd be down to try Babka. A rolled yeast cake with cinnamon or chocolate sounds good.

That, and I have made a Black Forest cake from scratch in the past. A few times, in fact, and all of them inspired by this game. Maybe I'll share a photo if y'all are interested.

(Also the rhubarb cake option makes me laugh)

EDIT: y'all are making me hungry.

I don't think you're supposed to be able to do this (Star Fox EX ROM hack)

There IS a setting to continue rolling after double tap by holding down the left or right shoulder buttons, but I think it's supposed to be disabled during bosses? It's definitely not supposed to continue during the mission complete screen.

Star Fox EX (slightly out of date version) on Romhacking (dot) net

There is a more up-to-date version on the Exploratorium Discord (thank you to Merithor for pointing this out previously)

For someone relatively new to 64, how's this PB and route?

I've been a fan of the series for a while, but am still pretty much a novice to the actual gameplay. My first game was Assault, then Adventures, then 64 3D, Zero, and now this one with not many hours in any of them. I think the only ones besides 64 I've done a route in/beaten is Assault and Zero. That will change soon, however. I've been playing through Assault again. Next is Adventures. The only one I can't beat again (at least not yet) is Zero. No Wii U anymore.

Falco is not a fan of Peppy's dad jokes (Starlink: Battle for Atlas)

Everyone else seems to be a fan, though.

More revisiting SF: Assault. Pigma's ship has a pinup decal.

A fun little detail I noticed after years of a hiatus from this game.

Revisiting SF: Assault. Man, Panther is such a simp.

In this case, I don't blame him, though. I mean...

Powerwolf lipsync (AR avatar fun)

This is totally his kind of music, huh?

Credit to Powerwolf and Ymfah for the medley.

[Spoilered for suggestive] FNaF Arts over a few years time. (Mostly Foxy and Roxy)

Some FNaF stuff from 2023 to present year in no particular order.

Before anyone says/asks: Yes, I'm an anthro artist. Yes, I like drawing Roxy. Please be nice. I'm just here to have a good time like everyone else in this sub.

This was funnier in my head

The rules were unclear, at least to me about memes and edits. So, here's something I made with a clip from my system.

"Now how did you manage that?"

Blooper of my last post here. I got stuck in a very unintended way.
