Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some honest advice because I'm trying to figure out whether this career path is realistic.
I'm from India and have a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. Over time, I've realized that I don't want a career that's heavily focused on software development. I'm much more interested in cars, motorsport, Formula 1, vehicle development, testing, performance engineering, and technical project work.
I'm considering doing a Master's in Automotive Engineering or Motorsport Engineering in Europe (Italy, Germany, the UK, or elsewhere), but I'm unsure whether my CS background makes me eligible or competitive.
A few questions:
A little about me:
I'm looking for genuine advice from people who have studied these programs, work in the automotive/motorsport industry, or have gone through a similar transition.
Thanks in advance!
Tried my best, holded a streak for 21days
It all happened because of my breakup, read some adult comics thinking it wont be problem and then "boom"
I was feeling very good those 21 days
Shit i fucked up! Its very Hard to restart, need motivation!
I’m trying to figure out what course to pursue next and I want something different and upcoming, not the usual MBA/engineering paths everyone takes.
I’m curious about niche or emerging programs that actually have interesting career opportunities. For example, I recently came across things like Tourism Management, Sports MBA, Geology, etc. fields that are a bit unconventional but still have real potential.
So I wanted to ask:
I’m open to anything business, science, tech, environment, sports, creative fields, etc. Just looking for ideas outside the typical mainstream degrees.
Would love to hear your suggestions and experiences!

Hey everyone,

I'm 24 years old and recently resigned from my Data Engineer role at a well-known company. I have about 1.5 years of total experience.

The thing is, I didn't leave because I had another offer lined up or a solid plan. I just woke up one day feeling like I needed to change something in my life and submitted my resignation.

Now that the dust has settled, reality is hitting me.
I genuinely don't know what I should do next.

Should I focus on upskilling and studying? If yes, what should I study?
Should I just find another Data Engineering job and continue building my career?
Should I try moving into another field?
Should I attempt to start a business of my own?
Or am I just having some kind of quarter-life crisis?
What's bothering me is that I don't have a clear goal anymore.

For the past few years, the goal was simple:
get a degree, get a job, gain experience. Now I feel like I've reached a checkpoint and the map disappeared.
Part of me wants freedom and entrepreneurship. Another part thinks I should stop overthinking, get another job, and build skills and savings first.

For people who have been through something similar:
Is this feeling normal at 24?
Did you ever quit without a plan and end up okay?
Looking back, what would you have done differently?
If you were 24 again with 1.5 years of Data Engineering experience, what would your next move be?

And if I'm being completely honest, like many people, my long-term goal is financial freedom and making a lot of money. I just don't know which path gives me the best shot.

Any advice, tough love, personal stories, or wake-up calls would be appreciated.
Thanks.
