Finally!

Finally!

Literally my favorite Snow Patrol song all growing up because I loved Spider-Man. So happy I can finally add it to a playlist!

Be Here

I found these guys last year and added a few of their songs to some playlists. Somehow I recently circled back around and have been digging a little deeper into their catalog and just came across "Be Here". What a fantastic song! I read up on the story behind the song and loved how personal it was. Is this a favorite for anyone else? I just think it's a fantastic song.

Here - Mumford & Sons Version

It's nice to have a band version of this song! Love the album version too, but I'll probably end up listening to this one more.

DMB's uniqueness

So I was looking up the streaming percentages of different bands biggest hits and how much of a percentage one or more of their biggest songs from their catalog occupied compared to their entire catalog. Here's a few bands I like and how DMB compares to them. I've found that most bands are similar to the three pictured here that aren't DMB. Lots of groups have a song that's close to one third of their entire streaming numbers, and their top ten songs often take up 75% or more as well. With DMB that's not the case. Their biggest hit Crash only takes up about 13% of their total streams, and their top ten most streamed songs only takes up 39% of their total streams. That's vastly different than the others pictured. It goes to show just how unique of a band DMB really is and just how great of a catalog they have. Their fans aren't just hung up on one or a few songs that got radio airplay, etc. Just another reason I love DMB so much! They have such a deep and endearing catalog of great songs that few other bands can compare or compete with. Thanks for indulging me!

New peak for monthly listeners

Death Cab just hit a new peak of monthly listeners! It's climbed even higher today when I checked Spotify. But the numbers in bold mean it's a new peak. Way to go boys! Let's keep it climbing!

Debate Exposes Doubt

Just watched a recent interview where Ben was asked what he thinks is Death Cabs most underrated song. It took him some time, but he landed on Debate Exposes Doubt. I agree with him it's definitely one of them!

Love on first listen

I've been a Death Cab fan for a long time, but I'm just a big music fan. Absolutely loved this album on first listen. There are things I like about each song. Grateful the boys are still giving us these good of songs at this point in their career! Happy listening my friends!

I guess this song is featured in the show "Invincible" and it's now their 3rd most streamed song daily! Always happy to see some deep cuts get recognition.
