I have no rational explanation for what happened last night

I woke up overnight and took a drink of water from the glass on the bedside table. I glanced at the clock and it was 2:05am. I laid back down and covered back up. I felt something brush across my midsection under the covers. It felt like it would if someone gently brushed their hand across you. I kicked off the covers and jumped up. The sudden movement and me making noise woke up my girlfriend who was asleep on the other side of the bed. I was walking around the house today and noticed a clock that had stopped. 2:05. I’ll attach a picture.

This is the first time I have ever had a sensation of physical touch, but there’s 30 plus years of shared group and individual experiences here in this home ranging from dishes falling out of cabinets and breaking, audible footsteps when nobody else is home. This particular one several have experienced all with extremely similar detail. We have also seen apparitions I guess you’d call it.

Nothing has ever really left me uneasy because it’s never felt malicious. I don’t even know if I feel differently now, but I do not like what took place overnight with the sense of touch. I feel like that crossed a line. Call me crazy. Call me whatever you want.

Edit: since the original post I learned that my great grandfather died in this home on August 15 (yesterday). My grandmother also died in this home, which I knew, but not sure of the day. I just find it interesting with the timing. Who knows. It’s coincidental. Interesting nonetheless.

God is calling me

I don’t know how else to describe it. I’ve never been a religious person. In fact I’ve always been more of a skeptic to be honest. I went to church as a child and some as an adult, but never really fully believed. Lately I have been feeling something pulling me towards god or a higher power and I don’t know what to do with this. I have many mixed feelings on religion and how they all differ, but each one feels they are the “right one”. I don’t know how else to describe it other than a strange magnetic feeling trying to draw me closer to god.

Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? I feel very confused, but compelled to answer the call. I just don’t know where to go with this feeling.

Do you like the idea of making one of these posts more than actually doing it?

I like the idea of putting myself out there to meet new people and make new acquaintances, but then reality sets in and then you have to interact?

Retinal flat spot

I was referred to a retinal specialist who said that I have what looks like a flat spot behind my eye. My eye does feel like it is always under pressure. My vision is blurred. Some days are better than others regarding the pressure, but vision remains blurry. Next up is an MRI to see if anything is behind my eye that may be pushing on it causing the flat spot. A few days ago I blacked out and ended up hitting my head on the way down. I have 5 more days until the MRI and I’m torn. I hope they don’t find anything, but I also hope they find something so it can be fixed. So far both eye doctors have not given any positive feedback regarding correcting the vision. I almost feel like they all don’t know what’s going on and they don’t want to do anything. Anyone have any experience regarding this type of thing?
